Pros:

No breakfast. Location awesome which is why I choose it.

Cons:

Reservation was messed up. It was booked through Booking. Com. We ended up with 1 bed where we were to have 2 and there was 4 of us. I know it wasn't Plim Plaza's fault.

Cons:

I think everything was outdated. The room was small, the walls were a little dirty. The bathroom was small. The door didn’t close following when entering and exiting the room and there was a huge gap on the top of the door when it is closed. The view was terrible. No microwave in the rooms only out in the lobby.
Also the parking lot was small. Have to walk 2 blocks to bring stuff from and to the room. No valet parking. Customer service could be a little better

Only stayed here because we had family staying here… never again.

Cons:

Hotel was filthy, rooms were tiny, no comforter just those cheap brown blankets, no hand towels in room, no hand soap, stains on towels, pool water was disgusting, smelled terrible. Lobby bathrooms were disgusting.

Location, pool area, lobby are all nice. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Service around the pool area and bar are great as well.

Cons:

The room was not cleaned the best. Dated bathroom and old fixtures are a turn off for staying again.

Great value for porch-sitting serenity!
Pros:

Great location. Chairs on porch out front and in shade, too. Coffee cafe on premises. Hair dryer. Access to pool. Lots of shaded parking nearby. Maybe can get parking pass earlier than check in time if not over booked. Fridge seemed big. Microwave in room. New AC. Clean. Snack machine in hallway. 2 elevators. Ease of access to bar and restaurant and coffee. Coffee in lobby all the time and maybe various flavors to add to cup like caramel or French vanilla. Large bathroom with actual tub. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner available in dispensers.

Cons:

No lids for coffee cups from lobby. Front desk attendant was asleep 2 separate times we walked through. I didn't know to return the bracelets for the pool before packing them away. Parking at the actual hotel is limited and very tight, even for 15-min unloading. The waters' edge to be in the ocean is further away here than many places along boardwalk but is close to the beach volleyball courts.

Pros:

The plim is a retro hotel with a kind staff the pool is the largest in OC with a tiki bar waitresses bring adult drinks and bar food pool side. Bands play from 1pm - 11pm nightly
Also had a full restaurant underneath the hotel
Love the retro feel. Others say its rundown and needs renovation however I love it just the way it is and tge cost is very reasonable there is rocking chairs out front on the boardwalk and close to the inlet.

Pros:

I've been there every once in a while for 5 decades and enjoy it's transformation
Out back is great and right on the boardwalk is great .
Sorry for the death of the parrot🥲

Cons:

Elevator closed extremely fast,room cleaner needs to remember to clean mirror on back of bathroom door,tiny bathroom sink, no where to put anything in bathroom. Hooks needed and a nice shelf over the toilet would be nice.
