The whole family felt comfortable and loved the hotel.
Pros:

The location is exactly what we wanted, the facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff were superb - very friendly and responsive

BEST STAY EVER!!!
Pros:

What can we say about our stay at The Alma, except that is was exceptional! Upon arriving, we were met with a lovely charcuterie plate and treats in our room set up by Ana & Lena, who had also upgraded us to a suite (with a Nespresso machine??? Yesss!). The front desk staff were always friendly, including Jorge, Tre, Axel, and, we’re not biased, but Grace is the best (haha, she’s our daughter). Kudos to Ericka for the fabulous coffee and thrift store recs (that we ran out of time for sadly). Miriam did an amazing job keeping our room fresh, she even folded my son’s pj bottoms. 😂 All in all, y’all made our stay memorable in the best way. We can’t wait to book a return!

Great location, comfortable stay, and friendly staff. I would happily stay here again.
Pros:

The hotel was clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent with easy access to downtown attractions, restaurants, and transportation. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a pleasant stay overall.

Cons:

My only suggestion would be to add a mini microwave in the rooms.

boa estadia, em um hotel confortável e funcional.
Pros:

funcionalidade, academia, quarto grande e confortável, banheiro bom, localização, bar e o local onde é servido o café da manhã; aliás, muito bom. O valor de $50,00 para o café da manhã foi suficiente para nós 4.

Cons:

estacionamento excessivamente caro. Também não gostei de uma cobrança de $20,00 que nos dava direito a pegar alguns itens como snack. Achei caro e sem sentido, pois não tenho o hábito de comer o que eles ofereciam.

Comfortable room, Grace was fantastic
Pros:

The staff here were nothing short of superb. Grace welcomed me, remembered it was my birthday and sent me to my room with a snack bag and some wine! I was blown away at the level of friendliness and service at the Alma.

Pros:

The inside of the property was great as well as the rooms

Cons:

The valet parking was difficult and not the most ideal. Also there were a large portion of homeless groups hanging around on the corners of the streets which made it feel unsafe

Lovely hotel and it is right in the centre but expensive parking and big drug homeless problem
Pros:

Lovely pool and excellent rooms

Cons:

Although it’s near the centre there a huge drug problem so many people homeless and scoring right in front of you. Can’t help but feel so sad

Beware of parking it’s $60-70 a day!

Absolutely Fantastic
Pros:

Our group travels on a baseball trip every year. This hotel experience has been the best. The room and views were extraordinary. The room (and hotel) were extremely cleanly and the hospitality of all employees were second to none, friendly and accommodating. As an example, we asked the front desk for some extra towels on our way up to the room. The attendant was at our room before we got there. Everything was nearby and easily accessible by walking. Breakfast in the cafe was sogood we ate there twice. And usually we choose to eat local when our trips. The Avocado toast and french toast were a big hit.
I have never written a review before on tripadvisory and felt it necessary for this hotel on this occasion.
