Great location and newly renovated rooms
Pros:

The rooms look better and newer than you'd think judging from the outside. Nice room, well furnished, very spacious. Simple motel with a good location, just a short drive (or 30 minute walk) from the city centre.

Friendly staff and nice views, but poor maintenance
Pros:

The location was convenient, just a five-minute drive from downtown Kamloops. The view of the canyon and the river was very nice, and the room was spacious.

The staff member who assisted us at both check-in and check-out was especially welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name, but he was very friendly and made our stay more pleasant.

Cons:

Although we knew this was a three-star hotel, we have stayed in similar hotels that offered a better experience. Since it was just an overnight stop on our road trip, it served its purpose, but unfortunately, it was not a very pleasant stay.

We felt that cleanliness could be improved, as we found some hair in the bathtub and on the bathroom floor, and the pillows and towels did not smell very fresh. The blackout curtains were too short, allowing light from the hallway to enter the room throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep.

The hotel also seemed understaffed, as some common areas could have been better maintained. For example, there was a dead mouse in the ground-floor hallway that remained there for quite some time before being removed.

Overall, it worked for one night, but we did not have a good night's rest and believe there is room for improvement.

Good for a one day stay in Kamloops
Pros:

We liked the views by the windows. It was clean. It’s near restaurants and shops (20 minutes by walk).

Cons:

The first time we go there, we got an excellent customer service. The second time (was not the same guy), the guy was kind of rude.
