That is hilarious, the access requires walking to get to the hotel. Normally you walk from a parking lot but there are none so walking is ok. Staff have been terrific, breakfast was satisfying. Hot water was great and air conditioning was most appreciated. This hotel has its own personality. It does have views, not expansive and wild but the windows do get natural light. I haven’t felt threatened by anything while staying. It’s been an enjoyable stay and more of our party are showing up soon.
TBH, the hotel was what I expected, I got what we paid for. Tidy, good location, breakfast was a little tired. However the main reason I gave it a 3 star/2star staff is exactly that. The staff were disinterested, constantly on their phones behind the desk, barely looked up when you walked past. Compared to our other hotels in Vietnam the area of staff really fell short. I love Honoi though. D
Room was great for price, the only complaint was a lumpy pillow..
The room was dated, old and dirty, old NASTY air contioner, chairs were old musty and tv was old only had scrabbled vietnamese channels......what tipped it over the top is when i found a pubic hair on my pillow, when i went downstairs to see if i could get another room, the guy didnt seem to make a big deal about it, i went downstairs next morning and told girl i was checking out, i showedher pictures a d she shugged her shoulders, i left for a better hotel.
I hope i can get a refund for the 4 nights i didnt stay
HORRIBLE place
Hard to locate. Property has two names. Seem to be attempting to upgrade but a work in progress.
Breakfast was a 3 or 4 minute walk away and was poor at best.
Good hotel and great service
I really loved it.
Nice little hotel and convenient location. We had a miscommunication with our taxi pick up but the hotel made up for it with a upgrade to a bigger room.
The receptionist was friendly and always willing to help.
We booked 3 nights online through Hotels.com at Hanoi Vision Boutique Hotel. When we arrived at the hotel to check in on December 25, 2023 the receptionist told us that they are shifting us to another hotel named Vision Premier Hotel and walked us for about 15 minutes with all the luggages and our children to that hotel.
They put us to room 801 at the 8th floor but the elevator runs until 6th floor. This is a very old, dirty and dilapidated hotel and the total service is below standard and nothing similar or closer to the advertised hotel and the pictures at Hotels.com
The room had sewer smell and it felt like we were sleeping in a toilet. We complained and the owner’s daughter came in and sent a technician to fix the issue but they couldn’t solve the problem. Then they moved us to a smaller room with one double bed and one single bed for the four of us. Although we paid for two double beds.
The breakfast is very basic and sub-standard. We saw a spider in the breakfast area and the door of the breakfast area faces a busy street, a hospital and mostly they kept it open which allowed dusts to enter in. The utensils were also not fully cleaned.
Only good thing about the hotel is the location ( located in the Haon Kiem Area) and the friendly-helpful staff.
The location is exellent.
No NO NOOOOO!!!
The location is fantastic, right next to St Joseph’s Cathedral. We were able to walk to all of the Hanoi sights from here. The hotel is amazingly quiet and peaceful inside, considering how close it is to all of the action.
We booked the executive room for our family of 4 and it suited us very well. 2 queen size beds seperated by the bathroom in between. Great little balcony too with a fabulous side view of the cathedral. Highly recommend for an affordable hotel right in the thick of it.
Great location and very friendly snd helpful staff
Great are to explore Hanoi very close to the cathedral 😊
Great spot with decent rooms and service in a fantastic location - old quarter, hoan kiem easily accessible on foot. It's certainly not luxury but for the price is excellent value for money. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable/old but otherwise cannot fault.
The location is excellent to access to sightseeing and shopping as well as restaurants.
Lily was experienced staff for information about Hanoi.
Staff was super helpful and nice.
Property on the other hand was outdated. Our room was not clean, bathroom was gross and just not it. We only stayed one night then left to another hotel. Location is good.
It’s value for your money. The staff nice, helpful and friendly. Hotel is in good location. I would like to come back again.
A budget hotel - small, a bit outdated - in the center of the Old quarter. The location is very convenient and safe, but my bathroom was quite cramped, the water pressure - a bit low, and the room had an extremely old loud air conditioning unit.
Excellent location but it was the staff that nade it so special. Ling and Hao in particular, went out of their way to help me and make stay more enjoyable.
This hotel is on a relatively small quiet street and it is in a greet location. We had some very quiet sleeps. The owners are struggling to maintain the hotel.
