Lack of amenities
I do not eat the bread, breakfast was a little bit poor. It can be better. Also you need to keep the cheese in cool situation The quality of cheese is decreased when it is not kept in cool condition.
the sound of the adjacent room is easily heard at night. At first night I encountered something like this.

Breakfast could have been better
O café da manhã foi bem servido, porém as opções de frutas foram limitadas. Apesar disto, uma refeição ao dia já ajuda na programação diária dos passeios, pois a maioria dos pontos turísticos é distante.
As acomodações são antigas, utilizam carpetes e, na chegada, tivemos que trocar de quarto, pois o carpete estava molhado. Os vidros das janelas não abrem. Apesar de haver área para fumantes, era possível sentir o cheiro de fumo no quarto de não-fumantes. Um outro dia não foi realizada a limpeza, pois só fazem um horário específico por dia.
The location and the price.
We requested for a non smoking rooms, 1 for my 2 daughters and 1 for me and my husband. We can smell smoking from the toilets - coming from the other rooms.
After checking out, the reception at around 1400H, gave me a feedback form, rating for their rooms, breakfast, etc. When I gave each question, a 6 or 7 rating. She was asking me what was the reason of such a score…I told her, that we were in a hurry. But kinda insisted for me to answer her question. I eventually told her if they (hotel) or booking.com would send me an email to rate AGAIN, then I would reiterate. And guests are not obliged to answer such a question specially upon checking out.
I hope Holiday Inn would modify this part. Avoid consuming a lot of time from your guests with these feedback forms if booking.com is doing it already. And vice versa.
Upon checking in, there is a part wherein the receptionist that time, gave 2 forms to fill out the part the email, contact numbers, and signature. The 2nd form for a different email address. Again waiting guest’s time.
