Great city view though the big window, comfortable bed, good location. No coffee machine in the room but there is coffee available early morning in the hotel free of charge

Loved everything about this hotel! The staff were delightful - professional, but also warm and personable. One of the most comfortable beds and bedding I've ever slept on. I use a wheelchair and my accessible room was perfect, including a great walk in shower. The cafe is charming, had both drinks and breakfast there. Location is great. Highly recommend!

Quiet room and friendly staff

OMG where to even begin - so first of all, I came in late night with a friend and Lee who is the coolest and sweetest greeted us with so much patience and compassion!! we came in kind of late but felt right at home. the room was gorgeous like STUNNING !!!! I grew up in LA and my studio is in dtla where I see a skyline all the time but when I tell you this is NOTHING LIKE THAT AT ALL THIS IS NEXT LEVEL!!

I’ve always wanted to stay at the standard bc when I was nyu it was so romantic and special to walk past- so I told myself when I had adult money ok boom I’ll stay there. I share this because my expectations where honestly pretty high, so and I tried to tell myself “ok calm down it might not be as special as it seems” but wow it completely surprised my wildest dreams bc the place is beautiful perfect clean gorg but also the staff really really made a huge impact - this is the ONLY HOTEL I EVER WANT TO STAY AT AGAIN WHEN I COME TO NYC

Kershel in the morning greeted me downstairs bc I ordered a tompkin sq bagel and she was so sweet full of suggestions and positivity ! I went back upstairs and there was a really sweet housekeeper (I didn’t catch her name) who spoke Russian? Shout out to her she was such a gem to chat with a made me sad to be checking out!!!

Phillip and Demarlo (sry if I spelled that wrong) and tati and myko all were so sweet too shout out. So sad I only spent one night there :(

Like I said - it’s the only place I’ll ever stay in NYC when I come back! I came for work, but I’ll be bringing my gf next time.

I booked The Standard East Village since it’s located in my favorite NYC neighborhood, after carefully checking reviews and doing research on Downtown Manhattan hotels. I was in e-mail contact a few times prior to my arrival with the extremely service-minded and personal Lee Young, the guest experience manager. He accommodated my requests with such professionalism and great attitude. When I saw my room I was overjoyed; the view was to die for. I can highly recommend The Standard East Village. THANK YOU 🥰

Lee and Myko were amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure my team’s entry was smooth; and their stay was comfortable and luxurious. And answered all my questions with such patience. Truly unexpected and great experience.

Lee made our experience fantastic. He greeted us with a smile from the moment we arrived and consistently went above and beyond throughout our visit. He made sure we always had water, checked in on us regularly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The experience would not have been the same without him. He’s an incredible employee, and we truly appreciate his outstanding service.

I absolutely love the standard at the east village, off of the bat when I checked in Lee at the receptionist desk immediately recognized me from over the phone when I made the reservation and over the course of the 10 days that I have been staying here he has consistently remembered my name as well as my boyfriend’s name and has been extremely attentive and extremely kind along with all of the other hotel staff, this is an amazing hotel and I am very blown away by the service and the atmosphere! And again Lee is amazing!

We stayed here to celebrate our engagement and could not have had a better experience. Lee, Myko, and Ahmad went out of their way to help coordinate a surprise with our friends and sent some lovely desserts and wine as a celebratory gift. 10/10 would recommend The Standard East Village, best team and hotel in the city.

Lee and his whole team were so accommodating, friendly and professional. The hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable. They even provided bottles of water, which most hotels do not do anymore. The drinks at the bar were delicious and overall just an amazing stay. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family!

What a fabulous, friendly, comfortable and perfect way to spend our NYC “staycation” anniversary! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by name and given warm smiles. Everyone on the team, (Lee!!!!! Ahmad and Myko) was so accommodating. An anniversary treat was kindly brought to our room which was a great added touch. Conveniently located cafe downstairs which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Hotel also does early morning coffee in the lobby for those early risers. :) Overall stellar customer service and attentiveness! Thank you, STANDARD East Village !! We will see you again!

Lee and Shavone at the front desk concierge we amazing! So helpful and very knowledgeable they offered us so many great suggestions for things to try around town. Definitely would recommend this hotel front the bedding to the toiletries offered all top notch!
