Very Standard hotel
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel interior. Good location that I felt was a little bit lacking in the luxury experience that I was hoping for at the price point. Room was small (it’s NYC), and was actually pretty standard- no pun intended, bed was comfy. Big gorgeous window that they have mounted a giant TV in front of. extra bummer that it is not a smart TV and has no streaming with only 60 channels. Distinct lack of common area spaces and amenities in the hotel other than the gym access across the street. Probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel at the price point.

Fun stay at The Standard East Village
Pros:

Fun place to stay in a great area of NYC. Kershel at the front desk was so fun and personable as well as being very helpful. Good night view of the city from our 8 th floor room. We are Hyatt members so it was great to be able to visit a very different Hyatt.

A really wonderfully staffed hotel.
Pros:

The bar staff and the manager are absolutely wonderful. I love to come here for the incredible hospitality.
Special thanks to Dom at the front door, keeping my luggage safe after checking out, for the afternoon.

Birthday stay + NYU campus visit
Pros:

I had a wonderful experience at The Standard East Village. The staff is so wonderful! Tati at the front desk made my birthday feel special. Shavone was very helpful throughout my trip. The location is perfect and close to NYU. Great lighting in the rooms, and I love the artistic vibes around the space. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros:

Todo fue fantástico! La habitación que nos tocó además tenía la mejor vista posible. El personal super atento. Repetiremos seguro.

Nice location, quiet at night
Pros:

Very nice location, lots of great restaurants around.

Very helpful and courteous staff, good house cleaning.

Best of all, this is one of the few hotels in Manhattan where I hear no street noise at night. Really appreciate that.

Pros:

Tati and Myko were the absolute best. I’ve stayed at many properties, but their kindness and attention to detail really stood out. They were so right about the iced caramel latte from Cafe.

One of a kind
Pros:

Not your typical hotel but I mean that in the best way. I live in the city so there’s no need to stay. I frequent the cafe and Cuna has been a great addition. The staff is sweet and welcoming.

The Standard rocks!

Such an amazing experience there! The staff were extremely nice and very accommodating. Shatasia and Lee went above and beyond to make our 1st experience at this hotel everything and more! I highly recommend staying here and can not wait until our next visit

Friendly, good vibes in the East Village
Pros:

Perfect location for us in the East Village. Friendly staff, great hotel bars and vibe. The comfiest bed. Nice size bathroom with shower and bath. Floor to ceiling windows with views over the streets below. Close to coffee shops, restaurants, dive bars, subway and St Marks Yoga!
