I stayed on the 17th floor and the views were incredible. The room was perfect for one person, and could comfortably accommodate a second, although the wardrobe space is somewhat limited. Breakfast is served à la carte, which was a nice touch (not included in the price of the room), and the bar is excellent.
Staff was welcoming and accommodating, and Lee at frontdesk was exceptionally nice and helpful, he took service to another level.
Loved the view from the room, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and bar staff made some tasty drinks. All in all a wonderful experience. ;)
I really can’t think of anything;)
Our upgraded room suite was phenomenal with an incredible view.

The staff, particularly Lee Young, was very welcoming and accomodating
a little more expensive than we typically pay
Just location
Too expensive for small small rooms
I had such an amazing stay and I really enjoyed how engaging and enthusiastic the staff was. Lee and Myko took care of me very well and I felt like their customer service was amazing . Will come back again really recommend.
Best stay for a recent work trip! Everyone was so helpful - especially Dom, who knew I was running late for a meeting and literally had a cab ready for me. He also helped arrange a car service to the airport. Really appreciate his help and everyone on the team.
The hotel is located near subway stations.
Daily we were given 2, sometimes 4 small bottles of water.
Staff was helpfull.
Tv remote did not work well.
Hotel overcharged us 56.89$. The total amount including all taxes shown on booking was 6668.83$. The hotel charged my card for 6725.72$.
Loved the hotel and the experience and the staff!! Big shout out to Shavone— he was so helpful, kind and accommodating! The hotel is so cute. I love the huge windows in some of the rooms. There’s a cute little room in the second floor to work or hang in and there’s also a conference room and a patio. I loved the location— easy to hit East Village hot spots and Tompkins Square Park. I’m vegan and they have lots of vegan spots nearby. I think what made the stay the best was the staff! Also shoutout to the IT or media guy who helped us on Sun 12/14! We wanted to out football but our tv wasn’t working and he had to come back a few times to get it working. We were so appreciative! Also, the woman working the front desk on that day! She helped us with our room mixup and got us into a suite!
The hotel is in a great location and easy to find and central to all the different areas on the east side. The rooms are beautifully, decorated, and fixtures were better than expected in a hotel. It felt like home with all the amenities that were provided. The view was exceptional on the 17th floor.
Perfect location just steps to the subway, the Strand, and SoHo. Front desk team was warm and helpful- special shout out to Lee who was very welcoming. Our room was big and light enough to be a welcome break / siesta between our day and evening events. Librae Bakery next door makes locally-famous croissants. Gym membership to Crunch across the street kept me on track while eating out so much. Bonus that a new high-end grocery store, Wegmans, is right by the train stop- perfect to grab snacks. As someone who lived in the city over 10 years ago, its just ideal to stay in a low-rise neighborhood, walk to Soho / west village, and have so many great restaurant choices.
Excellent location, staff, food , rooms! The staff went out of their way to make our time comfortable and memorable - the breakfast in the cafe was wonderful! Looking forward to staying here again when the garden is in bloom!
The hotel is run-down and poorly maintained. The furniture is in bad shape.
The staff's service and attention are terrible. The staff are poorly trained and somewhat arrogant. The guest is treated like a "number" and, in my opinion, should be treated like a "customer"
And on top of all that, they charge a $150 deposit per night to cover any expenses. I still haven't received any refund of this amount, which has been charged since
December 19th!

Loved staying at this hotel for the location primarily. I was in town seeing some shows at the Bowery ballroom and this hotel was perfect for it. Also the east village is close by full of restaurants and bars. The hotel itself has awesome rooms with good views and two restaurants on site. It was a perfect stay. I wanted to stay even longer !
This is the second property we’ve been to from The Standard’s line up and It did not disappoint. The restaurant downstairs is top notch! Food was great, the drinks perfectly mixed, and the service above all. Xavier was on point with his recommendations and his attention. Just ask for Xavier if you’re stopping by!
