Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown. Great food also!
The hotel bar is more expensive than the Hilton
Great views from our room, which was really comfortable and spacious
Loud noises come from electrical room and room AC all night. Didn't sleep at all. Absolutely awful.
Everything
They didn't have a pool
It was nice clean and great customer service
Not one that I can think of that I didn’t like
It was beautiful I was on the 20th floor and the view was amazing the staff were great! I hoped we would have a few free drinks in the room but everything in there was money down to the water bottles, with the price you pay maybe having some free water at the rooms would’ve been nice, they keep a stand of drinks and snacks in your room but there’s no sign that it’s free if I didn’t call and ask I would’ve paid a lot of money for stuff that I thought was free since it’s in the room. There should be a sign on it stating it’s money to drink those drinks and eat those snacks. But outside of that it was an amazing stay so beautiful!
That there where snacks and drinks in the room that I thought where free but wasn’t, there’s no sign and that can be very misleading. I had to call the front desk to confirm and they told me it was extra money for anything we drink or eat that was in the cart in our room. I’ve been to hotels where it was free. There should be a sign that states it’s an extra fee for it for people who assume like I did that it came with the price of the rooms. But everything else was amazing
Beautiful, historic building. The lobby is on the smaller side with a bar and restaurant taking up most of the first floor space but it is lovely. We were treated promptly and found out that we had been upgraded to a larger suite - we had booked the Fantastic Suite and got to stay on the 24th floor in the Magnificent Suite. It is very large. Sadly, the couch wasn't very comfortable, but it looks amazing. The view is incredible. The bathroom was large and luxurious. The robes were a little stiff rather than soft. The black-out blinds were wonderful for sleeping in. We could hear some sirens but didn't hear any other noise. The mattress was very comfortable. We didn't want to pay $60 for valet parking so we used the garage. Sadly, the interior connection is closed, so you do have to walk outside for about 20 feet if you do that. It saved about $40 so we thought it was worth it. We enjoyed going up to the observatory, which actually has an open balcony. The speakeasy was really busy so we didn't stay but looked fun.
The NYE party was lit in the Living Room for NYE. Good vibes, good music, well managed. I like the international feel. The suite was great. Nice to have parties happening with no issue and little noise heard between rooms. Loved the extra touches like a complimentary water, coffee/tea, mimosa bar on New Year’s Day and comp martini when checking in on NYE, plus free tickets to party downstairs. Renovations re entry done look nice. Welcoming environment. Nice to be in a place where diversity is everywhere and partying is encouraged and well managed.
The lights in the bathroom weren’t working upon arrival. Took a few minutes to realize there was an outlet that needed to be reset and was located in the next room. Was going to call but figured it out ourselves. Only 2 elevators running, so waiting for an elevator took a while every time.
The room was fantastic, beautiful city views that can't be beat. Great shower and comfortable bed.
There is some sort of weird air flow problem that caused the front door whistle from the pressure when it was closed, couldn't hear it when sleeping though so it wasn't a big deal.
I liked the environment and aesthetics
I really have nothing bad to say about the property itself. I wish the staff was more helpful. When I arrived I was told our bags would be brought up to our room only to wait 45 mins to have to go get them ourselves.
The location is great. Fun to be in the historic building. Cool art deco decor. Check out the bar on the 27th floor.
I would not consider this a luxury hotel. Rooms are smaller and pretty standard.
The property was beautiful, historic, and the observation deck provided such an amazing view (even if I am scared of heights)
Unfortunately, our bathroom light was not working upon arrival. The staff immediately sent up a mechanic while we were at dinner, which was appreciated, but shortly after returning, it stopped working again - as did the thermostat. We were unable to control the heat and woke up fairly uncomfortable and cold. The staff were very kind and provided a high level of service, but unfortunately the room itself and its issues did not live up to the price I paid, in my opinion. I did bring these issues to their attention again upon leaving because it seems to be a wiring/electrical issue they may want to look into, but nothing was offered to make it right. All in all, I’d probably stay again, but I would’ve liked to see a better prepared room and more effort to compensate me as this was a trip I’d saved up for and waking up cold and having to use the bathroom in the dark was a little frustrating.
Close proximity to the stadium,
Loved Manny’s in the lobby.
