Pros:

Nice rooftop bar. Good facilities. A clean and well designed hotel.

Cons:

As per other recent reviews, The breakfast is sub par for the hotel it aspires to be and the breakfast team are understaffed. Large wait time for breakfast and it lacked management as staff were doing multiple different jobs instead of being tasked to run each segment coherently. Not the fault of staff as they done their best in the circumstances.

Lovely place but may be under staffed for dinner service.
Pros:

Nice location, clean beds, clean room.

Cons:

Bar area dated and felt canteen like rather than cosy pub.
Waiting times for food was lengthy and when food eventually came we had no cutlery to begin eating. Another long wait for cutlery!
But staff were most apologetic and very nice which made up for it.

Pros:

Lovely hotel and we had lake view room which was very spacious family room, beds comfy, hotel clean. Breakfast was OK but continental needs more selection of like fresh fruit and more fresh pastries but otherwise nice, location of hotel is brilliant, supermacs and shop next door short walk into town, we also booked thermal spa which we both really enjoyed, would definitely stay again

Short and sweet
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly, had a really nice time there

Cons:

For a single booking I'd recieved a lot of excess marketing emails. Everyone was really friendly however on the Wednesday evening we stayed I observed what I assumed to be the assistant manager being a bit rude to other members of staff, I noticed him clapping his hands really loudly to kitchen staff to hurry and again to another waiter loudly saying "WAKE UP"

A lovely hotel with great food, friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere for a wedding.
Pros:

We stayed at the Loughrea Hotel for a wedding and had a lovely time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and our room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

There was nothing in particular that we didn’t like. Everything went smoothly and we really enjoyed our stay.
