Die Lage
Das Hotel ist aus meiner Sicht deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und entspricht nicht mehr dem Standard, den man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde. Die fünf Sterne spiegeln sich leider eher im Preisniveau als in der Ausstattung und Qualität wider.
Das Mobiliar wirkt überwiegend wie aus den 1990er-Jahren und ist teilweise stark abgenutzt oder beschädigt. Einige Türen hängen oder sind in einem so schlechten Zustand, dass Teile davon beim Benutzen in der Hand bleiben können. Auch die Badezimmer entsprechen nicht mehr einem zeitgemäßen Standard. In unserem Fall gab es ausschließlich eine Badewanne mit einem sehr hohen Einstieg, was insbesondere für ältere Gäste oder Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität problematisch sein kann.
In den Zimmern fehlte ein Fernseher, außerdem waren aus unserer Sicht nicht ausreichend Steckdosen vorhanden. Die Betten empfanden wir als ausgesprochen hart.
Besonders kritisch sehe ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Restaurant. Für zwei Erwachsene und drei Kinder haben wir für ein vergleichsweise einfaches Buffet mit jeweils einem Getränk rund 350 € bezahlt. Die angebotenen Speisen entsprachen für uns eher solider Hausmannskost und standen in keinem angemessenen Verhältnis zu diesem Preis.
Zusätzlich sollte man die Restaurantrechnung genau kontrollieren. Bei uns wurden 10 % Trinkgeld auf den Rechnungsbetrag aufgeschlagen. Gästen würde ich daher empfehlen, vor der Bezahlung zu prüfen, welche Positionen tatsächlich berechnet wurden.
Auch die Organisation im Restaurant war für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Vor dem Eingang mussten wir regelmäßig etwa 10 bis 15 Minuten warten, bis wir zu einem Tisch geführt wurden – selbst dann, wenn das Restaurant sichtbar nur gering ausgelastet war.
Insgesamt stimmen für mich Anspruch, Zustand und Preis dieses Hotels nicht mehr überein. Natürlich können einzelne Eindrücke subjektiv sein, aber angesichts unserer Erfahrungen kann ich das Hotel zu den aufgerufenen Preisen nicht empfehlen.
The views and property/grounds were incredible! Great pools and restaurants. Close to restaurants and grocery store. The beach was beautiful! The townhouse was big with lots of space.
The townhouse was dated with lots of wear and tear - door knobs falling off, loose railings, broken kitchen cabinets and AC was not working well (noisy and only low fan speed).

La ubicación y el entorno
Pagamos 3.114 € por 6 noches con desayuno incluido en una casa individual y la experiencia estuvo muy lejos de lo que esperábamos para un establecimiento de este nivel y precio.
Durante nuestra estancia nos encontramos con una larga lista de incidencias: televisión averiada, teléfono del apartamento para contactar con recepción sin funcionar, secador estropeado, enchufe averiado, frigorífico haciendo ruido todas las noches e inodoro roto con pérdida de agua. A ello se sumaban una limpieza deficiente, sábanas ásperas y rígidas, una cama más propia de un hotel de categoría inferior, tumbonas incómodas y un apartamento claramente envejecido y necesitado de mantenimiento.
Como familia con un bebé, lo más preocupante fue comprobar que los columpios infantiles estaban deteriorados y que las vallas de seguridad para niños del apartamento también presentaban un estado deficiente.
Lo más frustrante no fueron únicamente las averías, sino la dificultad para resolverlas. Al no funcionar el teléfono del apartamento, cada incidencia obligaba a desplazarse personalmente a recepción. En varias ocasiones comunicamos problemas que no fueron solucionados, teniendo que volver repetidamente para reclamarlos de nuevo.
La sensación general fue la de unas instalaciones con falta de mantenimiento y un nivel de calidad muy alejado de lo que cabría esperar tras pagar más de 3.000 € por una semana de vacaciones.

No volveríamos y no lo recomendaríamos a otras familias que busquen unas vacaciones cómodas, tranquilas y acordes al precio abonado.
Houve uma inundação pelo facto da base do bidé não estar devidamente isolada e não foi realizada a limpeza do alojamento no dia 13/06 e as toalhas de banho e de mãos só foram entregues após eu ter ligado para a receção do hotel 3 vezes.

The resort was very luxurious. The facilities were amazing for kids. The houses were clean and very comfortable.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind. They catered to every need. Our baby got hurt in one of the restaurants outside the resort and they couldn't have been more helpful to us.

You dont need to bring towels, shampoos etc as its all available there.

The hidden costs in the restaurants. They are extremely expensive in the resort and half the price if you go outside the resort.

Some of the waiters in the O pescador restaurant were very rude.
There were very little ramps for buggies and as this is a family resort we would have expected more.
A small fence in the downstairs balcony would be very helpful for people with small kids as the house was close to the road.
Offered everything a family could want or need. Location is beautiful with a small walk down to the beach with a food/drink, facilities and loungers available. If looking for an escape of the resort prices, there are restaurants and shops just outside the gates. No taxi required.
It was a little pricey for children's meals but generally the prices as expected for the level of resort booked.
