Beds were comfy but disappointed the pool was down and window shade wouldn’t work

Cons:

Pool pump was broken so couldn’t use pool or hot tub, first night we couldn’t close the motorized window shade because the batteries were dead in the remote, 1 guy working and he didn’t have any batteries to replace them so we ended up putting the couch cushions up in the window to block out light so we could sleep, the next day a girl working switched out the remote from another room so we could finally close the shades that night

There are a couple other motels at this exit, stay in one of those.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Not one ice machine working in the building. Each staff member had a “different story “ as to why there was no ice. The pool and hot tub were both closed for some non existent ongoing repairs.

The coffee was hot.

Cons:

Room wasn’t the cleanest. Food still left in the mini fridge, Bobby pins on bathroom floor. The shower water never got hot, just Luke warm.

Everything was great but the room felt damp. Like the AC only came on when we walked in the door. Sheets & towels felt damp. Spacious room though!

Other choices close by- Skip This One
Pros:

Skip this one! This is not the quality Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in so many times. Several small things but 2 main issues 1) junky broken window blinds - could not raise & see out- a mess. 2) no blanket, choices were the sheet only or top sheet with giant heavy comforter

Pros:

Front desk staff were very helpful. Night manager was not. There were some safety features that should be added to the bathrooms and lowering the bed base would make getting in and out of bed much easier.
