Pros:

The Balavil Hotel is an excellent venue in a beautiful village location. The rooms are very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The food is excellent and the service first class. All members of staff make their guests feel very welcome so the hotel has a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

chambre très fonctionnelle, salle de bain parfaite. calme
excellent diner et petit dejeuner
accès piscine. tres sympa en fin de journée
Bar trés sympa pour boire un verre et jouer au billard ou fléchettes

La présence de groupe important oblige à diner très tôt.

Perfect weekend.
Pros:

Nice decor, well refurbished. Comfortable chairs, beds, seats everywhere. Everyone was so friendly. Great breakfast. Really amazing bacon.

Cons:

Situated in a road, so a little traffic noise. The room was very warm at night.

Great hotel with easy access to Aviemore but with more atmosphere than a regular hotel chain stay
Pros:

Lovely hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Staff were lovely & the food in the restaurant was fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Only complaint would be room was very warm but it wasn’t really an issue.

Lovely 2 night Hogmanay stay
Pros:

Super hotel with a warm welcome and friendly staff. Our room was lovely, clean and warm. Atmosphere is relaxing and very homely with the cosy stove in the bar. The dinners were very tasty and the breakfast great too.

Friendly staff. Comfortable room and updated bathroom. Comforting tasty dinner. Great location.

Cons:

We could hear everything happening in the room above us, including the very noisy bathroom fan and sounded like the geyser every time they showered. This was unfortunate because they went to bed really late and woke up early.
