Ideal hotel for a stopover on the way from southern Spain to the Santander Ferry. Nice large beds and although just off the motorway it is quiet. Swimming pool but too late to iuse it this time.

The main reason for selecting this hotel on this occasion (our first visit) was its location between the coast of eastern Andalusia and the ferry port at Santander- given the sailing was at 2pm. For that it was first rate. It is positioned right on the route and impossible to miss. Some parts of the hotel are more contemporary than others-the bedroom possibly a little tired, but comfortable, nevertheless. There were some electrical issues involving doors and a compound gate. The crowning glory was without doubt the food which has a regional flavour and is excellent. Staff in the bar, restaurant and reception -all lovely and engaging. Estrella must be mentioned-it was her birthday!! Parking under sun canopies. Would stay again without hesitation.
There can be little doubt that the small issues were temporary and most likely confined to the day we were there.So those should not be influential. We cannot speak about breakfast due to an early departure, but the cafeteria was open from 6am and we had freshly squeezed orange, a pastry and coffee which was great. Suspect this may be an event location-sometimes an issue for travelling guests-but there was nothing of the kind during our stay
