Convenient hotel to Vic Falls town
Pros:

It was close to town. There was a lovely swimming pool. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The regular shuttle to town and the Falls entry is great.

Cons:

The shower was poor and sprayed on the floor. It water temperature was hot in the evenings, but not at other times in the day.
The lunch meals were fairly ordinary. Some facilities needed to be refreshed.

Overall staff were very pleasant but it was all not up to standard, except our room !
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable, but bedside mats would have been nice.
Location was excellent

Cons:

The restaurant was shocking, 1st morning Nothing laid out until half an hour late and then it was all gone in 20 minutes and had to wait another half an hour for more to arrive !!
Dinner alacarte. Dinner took. TWO And a HALF hours to arrive at the Table.
We had no hand soap by the wash basin.
Our last night no towels were delivered to our room x

Cons:

for our 3 days stay, pool was closed 2 days for unpropper maintenace; Food in a restaurant was too pricey for offering, so we ate just once in hotel; Most of food just standart tourist options, not worth the money at all.

Rainbow Victoria Falls
Pros:

We had a great stay at the Rainbow Victoria Falls and were made to feel very welcome.
Rooms were great and aircons were appreciated!
We enjoyed the restaurant and pool area where we could chill and relax.
The great staff were an absolute highlight

Enjoyable stay at Rainbow Hotel. Clean and well maintained. Exceptional friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

Our stay at Rainbow Hotel was excellent. Rooms were clean and so comfortable. It was very hot and the aircons worked so well. The mosquito net around the beds and spray was very useful. The kettle and fridge in the romm was so welcome. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. From the porter to the reception people, the cleaners and the travel desk. Location also was great. Very very central. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel and return there myself.

Pros:

Our room was comfortable, clean, and the decor really made you feel that you were in Zimbabwe. Hotel staff were very helpful with a smile. Location was great. Short walk to an area that has restaurants, cafes, and markets. You can even walk to Victoria falls and the Zambia border from the hotel. If you don't want to walk, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the falls. Really enjoyed our stay and the hotel. I highly recommend staying here!

Cons:

The restaurant.... We ordered a la cart for dinner, the wait was over 1 hour from ordering to receiving our food. The next night, they suggested we get the buffet, because of how long the wait will be. The buffet was mediocre, definitely not worth $33. Especially the breakfast, not worth $33. If you can, I'd suggest walking 7 minutes down the road to the restaurant on the corner. Great ambiance, food and a fraction of the price.
