Hôtel Spa La Romana, The Originals Relais (Relais du Silence)

Un personnel très professionnel, aimable et souriant, vraiment à l'écoute de vos besoins. Même pour vos besoin culinaire si ceux ci ont des restrictions (sans gluten, lactose etc etc). Les petits déjeuners : impeccable , rien à redire, jus de fruits fraichement pressée, il y a du salé et du sucré. N'hésitez pas à prendre vos repas midis ou soirs, une très bonne cuisine et si vous désirez quelques chose qu'il n'y a pas sur la carte , ils feront tout pour vous satisfaire. Maintenant parlons de la literie : là je leur met un 20 sur 10, vous vous allongés et en moins de temps qu'il faut pour le dire, Morphée vous embarque pour une nuit de repos au paradis. Côté salle de bain, il ne manque rien à votre disposition séchoir à cheveux,gel douche en distributeur. Et cerise sur le gâteau, il y a toujours un membre du personnel qui parle votre langue (merci Carlos) mais les autres se débrouilleront très bien pour vous comprendre (merci aussi aux autres membres)...en bref, un séjour que je note 20 sur 10 sur tout l'ensemble des prestations.

location was not so good,very dusty area.noise from other guests went on late, not very relaxing.

Wonderful, relaxing location. Backdrop of vineyards and Almond fields was breathtaking. The hotel is an architect's dream stay and the surrounding landscape was mesmirizng. Dinner at night in the courtyard was so romantic. It was like our second honeymoon. Can't wait to go back, maybe in the spring to drink in the Almond blossom.

Hele fijne sfeer, mooie lokatie, mooie kamers met heerlijke bedden en een hele lekkere douche. Ontbijt was zeer goed verzorgd en het eten in het restaurant was ook prima. Zeker aan te raden!

When a hotel is open,then it is always expected that all facilities would be available.
To have an indoor + an outdoor pool also spa all closed is seriously disappointing.
Lack of other guests was also a shock.
No atmosphere and lack of quality food and service.
A very disappointing experience.

The hotel is in a lovely setting, but off the beaten track. You'll need a car or taxis to get to and from, and some of the local roads were in very poor condition.

Decor is simple and modern, if a little stark. Everywhere was very clean; we had to move from 102 as it smelled very strongly of blocked drains, but no doubt that will have been corrected by now.

Breakfast was cold buffet, but with plenty of choice. Service was pleasant and friendly. The WiFi was reasonably good, given the remote location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the hotel very relaxing. Sat in the garden by the pool enjoying the view. The room was quite small, excellent shower. Restaurant was good but very quiet on Friday night. Saturday was much busier. The surrounding area was great and I took photos morning and evening. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful.

We used the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis to be with friends who live nearby. We did not use the spa. The hotel appeared to be getting ready for the main season and will be very nice in summer. Service was first class with a warm welcome and staff who were very helpful. The facilities in the room were a bit basic but clean and functional. The balcony gave a splendid view. I would go back there as it gave good service and value for money.

the hotel is wonderfully situated and beutifully renovated. All the decoration is perfectly done. However, our room was rather small and had almost no storage space. Unfortunately, the walls are thinner than thin and we could hear our neighbours talk in their room :-( . We would have loved to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and spend some time under the big fur trees, maybe reading, or just listening to the birds singing and enjoy the silence. There are no comfortable garden beds to lay and enjoy, just uncomfortable metal chairs... For a Relais du Silence we find that rather poor. Of course, we could have booked the spa area for 27 euros - we find that rather expensive for 90 minutes using the pool and the long chairs. For that price in Switzerland we get 3 hours of 5 different saunas, 2 pools, hamams and jetstreams! It is as we said: beautifully located, but some things have potential to develop...

Very pleasant hotel with a contemporary, minimalist style. The room was clean and comfy, as was the rest of the hotel. Inclusive continental breakfast was very good - especially the coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. the service was pleasant, but a bit slow and although the English spoken by most of the staff was excellent, there was one waiter who's English was poor, leading to misunderstandings.

Absolutely amazing massage! Very relaxing. It was the best thing during my stay.
Staff is nice and friendly. When I book that room: Expedia confirmed it will be with balcony, but actually it was not. Hotel explained that they have misunderstanding between them and Expedia. I was not happy with that and they offer me other room with balcony for extra $5. Unfortunately we could not use that balcony after all because it had very bad smell and we must keep out door closed.
Breakfast was nice. Room small but clean.

Vi var der i 2 nætter, og havde et dejligt ophold. Vi spiste i restauranten om aftenen, og det var en god oplevelse. Hotellet ligger i meget rolige omgivelser. Kan klart anbefales.

it was a bit difficult to find , but it was a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. This is the place to be when you look for a quiet place with not many people around.

La estancia ha sido excepcional. El hotel y el entorno son maravillosos, igual que todo su personal. El silencio y la calma del lugar nos han hecho pasar un fin de semana de relax total. Muy, muy recomendable.

Et fredfyldt sted langt ude på landet. Dog ikke så fredfyldt de første 2 dage p.g.a. et større arrangement, hvilket vi dog blev gjort opmærksom på inden vi kom.
Maden på hotellet var rigtig god og til rimelige priser. Der var mulighed for udendørsservering, hvilket vi dog fravalgte, da der var et par katte, der tissede ned fra træerne og gik på bordene. Andre gæster fodrede dem ved bordene.
Spaen prøvede vi en enkelt gang. Rigtig god til prisen. Personalet talte OK engelsk og var utroligt venligt og imødekommende.
Sengene var supergode. Der var dog noget varmt på værelserne - over 25 grader i hele perioden selv om aircondition kørte.

La habitación correcta y el desayuno también. En el spa nos dieron libertad en cuanto a tiempos y la verdad es que se agradeció porque, aunque no es muy grande, sí daba pie a relajarse y resultaba muy agradable. Si tuviera que poner un pero sería la cena. Nos metieron en una especie de salon de bodas...frío....impersonal....nada que ver con lo que se supone que son los hoteles con encanto. La comida no estaba mal pero igual sí un poco desproporcionado en lo que se refiere a calidad - precio.
