Travelling for business
Pros:

Staff, excellent. Hotel clean and well presented.

Cons:

Room was chilly, radiator was all or nothing.
No parking, not great when you arrive late evening.

A little haven as a disabled guest 10/10
Pros:

A very clean and well presented hotel. Being disabled the lift was a very welcome addition. It mademoving around the hotel very easy. Also an excellent breakfast selection!

Cons:

Nothing to dislike apart from atrocious weather!

EV Charging stations, 1st that actually worked in almost 2000 miles touring UK!

Cons:

Hot tub didnt function. Wife was already neck deep in warm soapy water when discovered it didnt work, so no maitanance person was going to be any help.
TV too small for size of room.

Pros:

Great location near the town centre

Cons:

I paid on line with Booking.com with my Apple Pay and everything was confirmed - then when I got to the hotel they asked me to pay again? Which I wasn’t happy with 😔
Because I was sure ✔️ I’d paid & Booked so it was very uncomfortable!

A great stay with a reservation for next week already made
Pros:

A lovely warm greeting on arrival and a delightful departure in the morning. The quality of customer care was super and all the questions were asked you need. The hotel is in a great position in the town - just a short walk from the centre.

Cons:

As I was a room only guest it would be difficult to say, but the public areas were pleasant and inviting. My room was lovely and all areas both public and in my room were spotless

We had to find somewhere as an emergency and it was easy to book.
Pros:

The facilities were just what we needed.

Cons:

UHT milk only. The bedroom smelled strongly of chemicals - not sure if the carpet had been cleaned but it was quite overpowering and the windows were hard to open.

Pleasant stay but one night only.
Pros:

The location was good! And the room was a nice size. The tea and coffee was a pleasant surprise and the road noise was minimal. Parking just over the road in the cricket ground for a great price also.

Cons:

The bed sheets were dirty, bathroom smelt a little and the mattress was hard but that’s a personal thing.

Very friendly staff, room was basic but comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cons:

No parking, and no info about where we could park / discounted parking at a certain car park. I’m sure info would’ve been given if I had asked, but would’ve been nice to have info on the website / upon checking.
