A really clean and centrally located hotel. Room was smallish but perfectly adequate for the short stay we had. Breakfast was nice and served by a really pleasant lady.
Could do with a toilet brush in the bathroom. No private parking at the hotel but on street parking is close by.
Thank you to all staff who work here. Especially Liz who waited on us for breakfast in the mornings . She was a lovely lady who deserves recognition for her hard work and bubbly personality greeting everyone with a smile through out the morning . Thank you to dushant the manager for everything
There wasn't much to do around kendal . Unless you drove out of the town ..
Good family room and location
Excellent vegan breakfast
Lovely staff
We stayed here twice over the last week on north and south journey and it was perfect for our needs
There isn’t any parking for the property and it can be difficult to drop off
Goed hotel, ruime kamers en goede bedden. Kamers en douche zijn schoon. Value for money.

Central in the town. Good bed and breakfast.
Employees were helpful and friendly. In the town.
Car parking was not near the hotel.
Location is excellent
I have stayed here before and all was expected. Very good service
All went very well
Good cooked breakfast and happy to do 2 fried eggs instead of the scrambled egg offered as standard.
Nice chap at breakfast.
Things generally felt cheap and nasty here, which I suppose is reflected in the price. Nothing was awful. Nothing was great. More photos could be made of the cooked breakfast, to show that the hotel did one (and that it was nice!)
Great value accommodation, comfy bed, welcoming staff
Bit of noise from the traffic
Comfortable stay at a great price . Beds comfy and no room issues .
Friendly staff . Handy nearby parking . Great town to visit
Bit of noise from outside the room in the night ,pipes , humming ,knocks as room near ducts etc
The staff were really lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great value for money as they offered both a full English (vegan and veggie options too) and a continental breakfast. The room was simple with, but just what I needed - comfy bed, clean bathroom.
Overall it's great value for money if you are only spending a few days in Kendal and aren't that bothered by extensive amenities.
The wifi didn't work in my room and didn't connect properly. But I only stayed the night so wasn't that bothered. But it definitely needs improving. There was a constant humming outside by bedroom window, which could be ignored by most.
Staff are friendly, rooms were pretty good. Decent breakfast.
The wifi in my first room was absolutely useless. There is supposed to be a number you can contact via WhatsApp but it is not registered. I complained to the front desk staff and they moved me to another room that had good wifi. Overall the stay was ok, and I may consider it again but in 2026 it should be a given that every room was usable wifi.
Close to station, staff polite, nice and handy for town
Great value. Breakfast was perfect.
