Sleepless in Kendal
Pros:

Good location near the station and Kendal town centre.

Cons:

Single room with the tiniest of single beds. Hit my head on the wall when I turned over.
Some lunatic drunks returned late in the night.
I did find out that Paraguay had beaten Germany on penalties from their loud commentary over the penalty shoot out though. 😉

Perfect place to stay
Pros:

Perfect location for travel by train or bus, staff friendly and very accommodating , good choice for breakfast, nice evening meal too. Lounge bar good size and choice of drinks. Good size room with everything you need Great stay Hope to be back for longer than weekend next time

A basic hotel, more akin to a hostel than a hotel

I'll be back.
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Fantastic location and very friendly staff. The barman only started last week and hopefully he stays until my next visit.

Cons:

The room was small but perfect for what I required. Room and bathroom were both spotless. I will certainly be back. Dee was excellent and pointed me in the right direction for parking and the very friendly local pub which is just down the road. The breakfast was superb.

Pros:

The service was excellent. The staff were attentive and responded promptly to every request. The hotel is in a great location and the room was neat and clean.
The team was very friendly and welcoming, especially Shreemoi, who made our check-in process smooth and hassle-free. She also provided helpful information about nearby all-day parking at the cricket club, available for just £2 per day. Her assistance and local guidance were greatly appreciated.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

The rooms in this heat with no air con were not good. It must have been 40 degrees all night in the room. The desk fan did not suffice . It was unbearable 🥵🥵

Breakfast was ok but cups need cleaning and for the price for one night your best booking a premier inn.

Good pit stop, lovely staff & good value family room with breakfast.
Pros:

Comfortable beds & good cleanliness in the rooms. Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was very nice too but certainly need some fans in the breakfast room during the hot weather.

Cons:

Carpets & decor upstairs in hallways could do with a refresh.
