The room was clean and comfortable and we had the benefit of being in a corner room allowing us to open both windows and a through breeze. Breakfast was good although a little overpriced. Staff helpful.

Excellent location for exploring the attractions in the area. Kilver court gardens a must, Shepton Mallet prison visit brilliant, Dorset and Somerset railway an experience and only a short walk to bus stop for a ride to Bath City (saving that for the next visit!) Comfy light and airy lounges, however bedrooms need air conditioning in this extreme heat! Good value with comfy beds, fluffy towels and an excellent breakfast. Very clean and quiet room. Lovely reception staff and well presented food in restaurant. Modern fitted gym and tons of parking on site. We will return!

There was a spider on pillow, the second pillow wasn’t clean, there was no air conditioning, a really small fan and the cost of the property for one night was far too expensive where I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel for that price.

Sorry but worst night I have ever spent in a hotel. No Aircon and the room was unbearable temperature even with the window wide open. Took me till 4AM to get to sleep. Only fan in the room was a USB powered one which was almost comical if it were not for the lack of sleep. Pay for a half decent nights sleep and didn't get one - thus one star
