Perfect for one night stay. Had absolutely delicious dinner in the restaurant.
Huge property, almost get lost on way to bedrooms! Used mostly for weddings, meetings.
Very pleasant, clean hotel, only stayed one night room only whilst visiting family close by, but would definitely return in future,
Stayed here for a couple of nights as we wanted to visit a few places nearby (Longleat, Bath etc) and the hotel was reasonably priced compared to options closer to Bath.
When we arrived the receptionist was very friendly and got us checked in, we had an issue with our room (radiator blasting heat on a hot day with a broken thermostat so it wouldn’t switch off), they were very accommodating and moved us to a new room (possibly an upgraded one).
The room itself was spotlessly clean, albeit quite dated. Amenities in the room were good with tea and coffee facilities and bottled water provided.
The shower was nice and warm, although the head was damaged and struggled to stay up.
Did have an issue on the way out where they claimed we’d racked up a bill in their restaurant (we hadn’t used it), and clearly didn’t believe us when we said we hadn’t!
Massive car park attached to it too, no struggles parking
Friendly staff.
Nothing as such.
Stayed overnight for a party that was being held at the hotel. Room was great but it seems expensive for the level of service. Hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel and grounds are kept in excellent condition, but just a few gripes that stopped me from giving it 4 out 5. At breakfast there was no white sugar, orange juice or semi-skimmed milk plus I had to go and find a member of staff so we could order breakfast. In the function room during the party there appeared to be a lock of tumbler glasses so people were drinking whisky, etc out of half pint glasses. As I said not huge issues but just a few niggling things
The location was perfect, a short drive into Bath and walking distance to local shops. The staff were also friendly and the food was good.

Nothing. It’s dated and needs bringing up to date
Our room has no blinds at the window and the toilet wouldn’t b b stop running. We complained. Staff very off with us . Put us in another room which was exactly the same no blinds no view and toilet continually running
Very clean and comfortable

The hotel staff were incredible and did above and beyond to help. I will forever be thankful.
Trois alertes incendies, une avec évacuation. Le système devrait être examiné et réparé.
Nice clean and great views
Leaving
The staff were great, good location but hotel showing its age.
Stayed for 4 nights and rooms not made up unless requested. This wasn't pointed out at check in.
Have to pay for water after the first night???
This hotel is a bit tired. The rooms were clean but why int1 chair in a double room? There was plenty of room for another.
The breakfast was very disappointing.
Tge scrambled egg was meagre as was the smoked salmon. I obviously had the end of the packet as it was hard and tasteless. The standard needs to improve to warrant the price charged for breakfast.
The waitress spilled my coffee and while she apologised I had to request an additional banking to mop up the coffee from the saucer.
Altogether not the best hotel stay.
Great location, friendly staff, spacious room.
Its nice good rooms

Staff consistently went above and beyond in their kindness, helpfulness and service. Lovely location very pleasant and beautiful grounds. Spotlessly clean. Peaceful environment value for money for sure. One star deducted as unable to access walled garden in my wheelchair and navigation of doors, corridors and outdoor space behind hotel is challenging.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was spotlessly clean, well maintained, nice crisp linen and fluffy towels and everything worked.
