Lovely rooms
Bar miles away from reception and entrance to hotel
We had the most amazing room, with a view over the pond, garden and golf course. SuperKing bed, with good bedding. Parking was easy. All staff that we met were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the area. They all gave their time, and never seemed rushed when chatting. Restaurant staff just as friendly and helpful, with nothing too much trouble. What a great breakfast experience, everything so fresh (open until 10am every day). Fresh fruit, fresh bread, freshly cooked pastries, juices, cereals, tea/coffee and water. Then a full breakfast menu, with full English and many more choices - all cooked to order, not via a buffet set-up. We didn't try the evening restaurant, or fitness room and gold course, but feel sure they were also of excellent quality too. All in all we had a fabulous 2 nights - would definitely stay again. The location for family
The bar was cold, not well manned, staff would disappear probably to do night checks

The service was very good, the rooms very clean and quiet. Vicki and Jenny on reception were exceptionally helpful, thoughtful and kind. We had gold course facing rooms which we chose to be quieter, which they definitely were. The beds were firmish which we like. Ample parking. Very easy to get to Glastonbury, Frome or Bath. Will definitely stay again if/when next in the area.
We recently stayed in the Leona Suite and overall had a really lovely experience.
The suite feels modern but still warm and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I really appreciated having a proper seating area where we could relax in the evening instead of just sitting on the bed constantly.
One thing to note is that the bathroom is open plan with a doorway leading to the bedroom but no actual door. It looks stylish and keeps the room feeling bright and open, but it does mean there’s less privacy, especially if you’re sharing the suite. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, just something to be aware of, and we managed fine.
A big highlight was the breakfast, it was really good. Great selection, fresh food, hot food made to order and everything we tried was tasty. It definitely set us up well for the day.
We had a quiet family room (room 222). It was really clean and comfortable. The staff we met were really lovely and the cooked breakfast was spot on. Absolutely delicious. We will stay again as we have friends nearby.
Breakfast was good value. The food was varied and met both our preferences. The staff serving at breakfast were helpful, sociable and efficient.
Both reception staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was clean , nicely decorated, comfortable beds and pillows.we could open the windows to let in fresh air. We liked the kettle and provisions in the Room. Nice soft and thick towels.
The actual appearance of the front of the building on arrival is not as attractive as it could be.
The hotel was virtually empty so why not put guests in the rooms over looking the golf course? We were on the drive way to a large car park which was very busy and noisy on Sunday morning with traffic.
ive stayed here for the past two weeks and will be for another 4. This is one of the friendliest hotels ive stayed in. Rooms are great an comfortable, the restaurant is great the gym is superb and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much of a stress. A short drive to Radstock which has some great places to eat and drink. What more can you ask for.
Booked for 6 weeks with work colleagues, love the hotel and especially the gym!! My only fault which isn’t a problem the food is the same on the menu and not a lot of choices but saying that there are tons of other restaurants around the area! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and excellent service
Good location, room clean, with a great view over the golf course. Restaurant service and food very good.
The weekend weather!!!
