Pros:

Struttura con vista da sogno, solo questo già ne vale il soggiorno. Particolare nello stile, colazione servita in terrazza panoramica. Un oasi di pace. Meraviglioso tutto!!!

Cons:

Letto duro e non c erano i secondi cuscini in dotazione.

The building was beautiful with some amazing views! We had a free upgrade to a lake view room and it was breathtaking. Really clean and staff were super friendly.

Doba hotelowa od 14 bardzo przestrzegana,brak mozlowosci skorzystania wczesniej z basenu.3 godziny czekalismy na zakwaterowanie w recepcji-pani w recepcji rowniez wydala sie bardzo opieszała.Na sniadaniu zwrocono nam rowniez uwage ze usiadlismy w dwojke przy trzyosobowym stoliku.Na cieplo tylko jajecznica z warzyw tylko pomidory naprawde slabo…Drugi raz napewno bym tam nie wrocila:(

Very enjoyable visit to Castel Gandolfo
Pros:

We had a very nice 2-night stay at Hotel Castel Vecchio with a fabulous view of the lake.
The staff were all very friendly.
The hotel is about 500m from the historic town centre, which was great for us.

Da rifare sicuramente, posto meraviglioso, posizione ottima e personale competente.
Pros:

La vista della camera era meravigliosa, vista lago. La vista era comunque meravigliosa da tutti i punti dell'hotel: camera, sala colazioni, bar, terrazza.
Davvero la consiglio.

Cons:

Avrei preferito avere un pochino di ombra in più nelle zone della piscina. La piscina un pochino piccolina.

Not terrible but not great either
Pros:

Amazing location, beautiful views. Especially loved the breakfast on the terrace with a fantastic view. Great parking, lots of space. Big room. Great atmosphere. Good soundproofing, rested quite well.

Cons:

Everything felt old and cheap. The room's door had tiny holes in it, everything felt used (obviously, it's a hotel, but it felt that the basic maintenance was done in 80s). Could be a luxurious or at least premium experience if they put a little work and investment in it. Such a shame.

The A/C was not working, and I had to ask in the reception to activate it. Lots of beautiful spaces for bar or restaurant, but none of them were used on my stay. There were no restaurant or bar working, even though there were plenty of tables.

The breakfast selection was poor, there were no clean knives either.

They also don't have the safe boxes in the rooms, which would probably be fine. But there were so many posters with the information that the hotel is not responsible for the missing items, I started feel unsafe by seeing them everywhere.

Bad customer service , not allowing cancellation if the restaurant facilities are not available

After I had booked the hotel emailed me to say that the restaurant facilities were not available to me for my stay , this was a key point for me so I immediately emailed back to request cancellation and had to book in at another hotel due to the lack of facilities and they never responded but still took payment of £230 p/nt for my 1 night stay
