Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Upon check-in at approximately 20:00 on 20 February, we were assigned Room 213. The room was in an extremely dirty and unacceptable condition, including:
• Shower cabin (tiles, door, surfaces) covered in accumulated dirt and stains
• Bathroom mirror visibly dirty
• Towels with clear dirt stains
• Thick dust on the television and bed
• Blonde hairs on the pillows
• Rusted and dusty table
• Bed headboard covered in dust
• Rusty refrigerator with a strong unpleasant smell
• Cups covered in dust
• Curtains and drapes blackened with dirt
• Damaged walls
• Sticky and dirty toilet flush
• Bed sheets covered in hair
• Armchair with white stains
We immediately reported the cleanliness issues immediately upon check-in at 20:00. Reception staff came to the room, confirmed the situation, and took photographs to present to the manager. The manager was not present at the property and did not come to speak with us directly.
In addition to these severe hygiene issues, during the night the electricity in the room failed completely, leaving us without power.
Due to the unacceptable sanitary conditions and the power outage, it was impossible to remain in the room. At approximately 1:00 AM, we were forced to leave the hotel and secure accommodation elsewhere.
The next day, we were informed through reception that despite having seen the photographs and being fully aware of the condition of the room, the manager did not consider the issues significant enough to warrant a refund. This response is unacceptable given the extremely unsanitary and unsafe conditions.
The room conditions were far below basic hospitality standards and do not reflect what was advertised on Booking.com. The accommodation was unfit for stay.
Also, Bell Boutique Hotel is taking money from our account for several days and also tried to take money from another account for other days
Breakfast was very good in local bakery.

That the trough in the Israeli tourism business has stopped the erstwhile excellent breakfasts of the Bell. The cafe next door was reasonable though.
