Could be more international
Good location, clean facilities and helpful staff.
The breakfast is great with variety of choices mixed with Asian and Western food. The location is about 45 minutes to one hour to reach Pudong International Airport.
I didn't get a room to face the river.
All are okay
Breakfast was ok though I feel the range of the food was limited for international visitors

The hotel is in good condition and comfortable
I asked the hotel staff to call a taxi for us to Pudong Airport, they arranged a taxi from a very small taxi company, and the taxi clearly did something to the meter ---- the meter shows 232 RMB and I did not say a thing just paid it; but from the hotel to Pudong Airport, it should cost no more than 150 RMB by taxi and even cheaper if you use platforms such as DiDi. I am Chinese/Shanghainese, but I don't have wechat pay or Ali pay and hence I had to call taxi. I grow up in SH and know all the tricks that some/many of my fellow Chinese/Shanghainese like to play to make some extra pity money, but I was still a bit surprised that in 2025, we still had many such bahavuors/actions in the taxi industry in SH. What has this to do with the hotel? Well, anyone born in SH and grow up in SH would know --- it was the hotel staff who called the taxi for me, and I suspect they thought I was a foreigner or someone who did not know SH well or had little knowledge about their tricks (collusion with some small taxi companies to overcharge "silly/naive" customers...100 or 90 RMB is about 20 dollars and frankly not a big deal to me at all, but the fact that they tried to cheat me and treat me like a Chongtou (meaning idiot or fool who can be easily cheated in SH dialect) made me decide to spend some time to reveal their pity and dirty tricks. It is sad that in 2025, SH's 5-star hotel still has such things like we used to have in 1985 !!!
