Disappointed!
Pros:

LOCATION TO EVENT

Cons:

I had no control over the temperature in the room. It was broken. It was rainy and damp outside and cold in the room. In the middle of the night, the toilet handle stopped working. I could not flush.

As I was packing to leave, a repairman was outside the room. He said they knew the air/ heating system was not working and he was there to replace it. He did fix the toilet.

I was told at the front desk they could not make an adjustment on the cost of my stay because I went through booking.com.

Unacceptable! I have always gone through booking. I will not stay at a Hampton Inn again due to this incident.

The Good and Bad

Pretty decent highway hotel for one night
Pros:

Friendly front desk and restaurant across the road . All seemed clean . Dog friendly. Decent highway hotel

Cons:

The rooms are a mix of refurbished and older features. The beds were ok but on the softer side. Noise from other doors were heard clearly.

The desk staff was really nice and cordial. Food was good and bed comfortable.

Cons:

there was no refrigerator, phone didn't work and mold around shower. These things are highly unusual in a Hampton. I am a Honors member and price was higher than through Booking.com so I booked through booking. Do

Not worth $288 per night
Pros:

It was just ok

Cons:

The room smelt musty and smoked in. Not enough room for bags to be stored. For the price, the plastic shower enclosure creaked and was odd. The pool was advertised open until 10pm, the n shut at 9pm. Staff wouldn’t open it up for us - this was the the main reason we chose the location, so that was really disappointing.

Not horrible but not good as previous stays.
Pros:

The rooms were comfortable and a good size. We also got the adjoining rooms that I asked for. The pool was a good size and only partially in the sun.

Cons:

Somewhere between booking and arriving, one of the three rooms was lost from my reservation so I had to book a new one on site at a higher price. There were also less options for breakfast that meant that if you don't eat red meat you just had carbs or cereal.
