One night stay before flying home.
Pros:

We had a room with 3 queen beds, bathroom small but useable and clean , nice big TV.
Hotel on lower main road facing the sea. Loved the Jamaican breakfast.

Cons:

Bed not very comfortable. Room is on the ground floor some noise from the road.

Pros:

Lovely view, top location. The nice plunge pool is good in a hot day . And the beach opposite is absolutely stunning

Pros:

I had a decent room and good check-in experience. Parking was a challenge at one point but if you arrive early you might get a good spot. There’s a club next door so expect the sound to travel a bit and share the additional parking with the patrons. The restaurant was closed for dinner so I had to eat off property. They did however offer breakfast, included in the cost. Overall I slept comfortably.

Pros:

I really like that the hotel is walkable to the beach, restaurants and other conveniences. I am a repeat guest

The view of the beach was nice from my room. But the walls were very thin and could hear everything

Pros:

We loved our 2 day stay at the Altamont! This hotel has Jamaican charm, the beds were very comfortable, the food at the restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed spending time in and around the pool. Would certainly be back if staying again a night or 2 in Mobay. Location is excellent with walking distance to Doctor Cave Beach and Harmony Beach Park.

It's a beautiful diamond but needs a little polishing
Pros:

We had a warm welcome, front office staff was exceptionally friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast every morning was amazing. Beach was across the street, just a 2 minute walk. The view was amazing. Loved it so much we extended our stay for the duration of our trip ...

Cons:

The staff that cleans the rooms were sometime slow and did not fully clean the room during our stay. Had to go down and ask for towels. There was also no lunch and dinner chief so we had to go out to eat. Would have been nice to have dinner at the hotel especially on those rainy days.
