Right opposite Gare de l’Est, it’s great to stay if you have an early train to your next destination…
Football on in the bar is good for some, but doesn’t improve the ambience.
This is an amazing hotel very clean, great location, room and bathroom good size, nice lounge and bar area and the staff were so nice and super helpful 🙂 I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again

bed was very comfy. location was good. staff were friendly
we paid an extra of 50 euros a night for a room with a balcony and a superior room but did not get one - we were given a standard room and told it was the best room in the house (we know it was a standard room because there was a sign on the reception desk listing the hotels in categories and ours was under standard. unfortunately we saw this after we checked out). room was a bit run down (scratches on walls, chipping of paint in cupboards). we were charged for two days of breakfast when we only had breakfast on one of the days (luckily we managed to get the one breakfast taken off our final bill) breakfast though is not worth the money at all. room was not cleaned the one day and the next day it was cleaned but we were given no new towels and the dirty ones were taken so we had no towels to shower. also bins were emptied but no new bin bags were put in. for such a fancy hotel cleaning service was not great.
