BEWARE !!! I am writing this review to warn others in the strongest possible terms. This establishment engages in blatant false advertising. The photos online are completely deceptive and do not reflect the reality of a property that is decrepit, filthy, and poorly maintained.
Upon arrival, the room was extremely dirty and had an unpleasant, chemical-like fume that made it uninhabitable. The entire place is old, neglected, and feels like a safety hazard, not a place of rest.
Furthermore, the staff was consistently unhelpful and indifferent to these serious concerns. This was the absolute opposite of a relaxing getaway and was a complete waste of money.
BEWARE: Do not book here. The risk to your wallet, your comfort, and your safety is not worth it.

Very pleasant stay, accommodation, food, pool, deck chairs, umbrellas, a large selection of beaches, from paved, pebble, to slightly wild beaches in a pine forest.... Very friendly staff. Possibility of organized exploration of the surroundings by boat. All expectations met.

Er is een uitgebreid ontbijt en dinerbuffet. Goed wifi. Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht dus een mooi uitzicht

Music in hotel public spaces was great! Hotel position, views, beach .... Great!

La seule chose à retenir c’est la vue et l’accueil. Les employés sont adorables heureusement. Le buffet est correct.

We stayed at Hotel Arkada and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Special praise goes to Gordana from the restaurant, who always makes sure the tables are impeccably clean and tidy – a true example of professionalism. Also, many thanks to Marijana at the reception for her kindness and warm welcome, as well as to Marina, the hotel manager, who truly ensures that guests feel welcome.

One of the things we especially loved is that the hotel is pet friendly. It meant so much to us that we could come to Hvar with our dog and not leave her at home during our holiday – she enjoyed the stay just as much as we did.

However, one thing slightly spoiled our impression – every night until late hours, certain hotel staff members made unbearable noise, entertaining themselves after working hours at the poolside bar, which made it quite difficult to sleep and rest. We believe that this will be regulated and that it will not happen in the future, and then the experience would be almost perfect.

Overall, Arkada is a hotel I would recommend for its excellent staff, pleasant atmosphere, and pet-friendly policy, with just a small suggestion to minimize evening noise so that the rest can be complete.

I went on weekend getaway. Had a wonderful stay at Arkada hotel. They have a great pool and lovely staff at the reception.

Pet friendly, but for real. Gordana from the restaurant was especially friendly and efficient, really nice to see something like that. Manager Marina was very helpful, too.

A perfect place to rest. Service, rooms, food, proximity to the Old Town will make your vacation perfect.
Excellent bicycle tour from the Old Town to Vrboska and Jelsa. If you don't have your own bicycles, you can rent them at affordable prices.

S obzirom da je hotel iz 1969 godine sve je bilo uredno. Dorucak i veceru obavezno spominjem jer je bilo sve ukusno i puno izbora.soba nam je bila s pogledom na more i bazen . Predivno.plaza odmah ispod hotela.

The hotel’s location is fantastic – close to quiet beaches with plenty of space for everyone. There are several shaded spots under pine trees where you can relax in peace, and access to the sea is excellent.

What I wouldn’t praise is the food, which is below average for most dishes. The rooms are fine for a holiday, though small and dated – but if the weather is good, you won’t spend much time inside anyway.

In short: the entire hotel could use a major renovation and a complete reorganization of the kitchen. The sea and beach are definitely the highlight.
