Excellent buffet breakfast. Clean room and well positioned in town centre.
The location was perfect, the sea view room was lovely
The room did not have a usb point that was clearly visible, we didn’t notice it until the day we were leaving, also one switch put all the wall lights on, it seemed a bit odd.
The view from the room and the location. Staff were helpful.
The lift was difficult to use but not much they could do about that.
Breakfast ended too early so when we went around 9.20 the food had been mostly cleared away and the cooked food was cold.
The restaurant which was supposedly part of the hotel was awful. We arrived at the time we had booked but they had no record of the booking. Staff started clearing up around us while we were still eating , stacking chairs on tables etc and making us feel unwelcome ( we weren't the only people still eating)
Right in the heart of Oban which was ideal.

Charming small vintage hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Clean. Bed was comfortable.
Shower door was difficult. It kept coming off its tracks. Small inconvenience for a delightful hotel.

Really old building and if light sleeper then this isn’t for you. Can hear everything from the main road such as buses, road works etc. Single glazing windows don’t help that.
Very old and dated rooms therefore it gives the impression it isn’t clean due to the oldness. We got it at a cheap price so can’t complain as it did the job but wouldn’t pay anymore than £60 a night for it!
Struttura storica sul North Pier, davvero suggestiva. La nostra stanza affacciava sul porto, una vista splendida. Posizione perfetta per passeggiare sul lungo mare, imbarcarsi per le tante gite in barca proposte nel paese. Stanza pulitissima e ampia. Colazione non al top...poca scelta e la sezione dolci tutta confezionata. In ogni caso un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Dovessimo tornare a Oban sceglieremmo di nuovo il Columba Hotel

Hotel central & happy with overall stay… weather was great and nice room with a view… hotel looks a little shabby from outside but rooms lovely ☺️
I didn’t get the room that was advertised so wasn’t happy but room I received was still nice but when I viewed the room before I booked is not what I received… complained about it but was told full booked & told it was booking.com fault???… I booked Columba hotel either that room because the room they advertised with a fantastic view out to sea… if I knew i wasn’t getting that room? I would have booked another hotel!!!
