Only good for a night’s stay if you just need a place to rest but definitely not for leisure and extended stay

The first room had a damp unpleasant smell as if the carpet hadn’t been dried up, we had to ask for another room. Second room was better.

There were 2 good things, very clean bathrooms and location if you are going to kings dominion, it literally across from the parking.

Cons:

The hotel it self has a smell, but the rooms are the worst. As soon as we opened the door, this stitch of mold musty smell hits you in the face. The Ac runs either very cold or muggy hot there is no balance. Dont bother with breakfast, unless the only thing you are eating is toast and cereal. The juice is watery sugar, the yogurt is dispense from a machine and taste like toothpaste and the eggs must be made from a powder mix. They dont have a kitchen all the food comes out of a liter as l walk in closet. The breakfast attended is literally working out of a walk in closet.

The location was great.

Cons:

Our room felt very wet the entire stay. We adjusted the air conditioner to make it cooler, but then it was uncomfortably cold. The carpet was damp and out clothing that was not inside our suitcase were damp as well. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a wooden box. This was an annual trip to Kings Dominion for Booz Allen Day that we have taken for 3 years and we have stayed at this hotel each year. This was the first time that we were discussing satisfied. We will book elsewhere next year.
