Great choice considering its location and price
Pros:

Great prime location, beautiful view of the city, bridge and strait.

Cons:

Soundproof is very poor. I can hear conversation from both sides of my room. I can even hear voices from loud speaker phone call.

Great location
Pros:

Loved the location. Great for walking around town. Staff were really helpful. Rooms were clean. Rooftop bar gives you amazing views of Penang.

Cons:

The rooms are very dated, in need of a refurb.

The staff of the hotel are highly commendable for being courteous.

Cons:

The room amenities are a bit lacking.
There are no floor towels to dry your feet when you step out from the showers. No facial towels. Air con control switch are not on floor level. Located quite close to the ceiling. Can't adjust the temp.

Great location, however rooms are outdated and poorly maintained with low water pressure.

Water pressure is very low, and many fixtures show signs of rust and wear. Overall, while the location is excellent, the property requires substantial refurbishment to improve guest experience.

Average but not sure i would stay again. Far more superior places to stay at competitive prices.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Always helpful. Were happy to help with all requests, although reception did get busy and lots of people waiting to be seen sometimes.

Cons:

Reception seating area was grubby and very dusty on the ledges.
The sheet on the base of the bed was stained for the whole 9 days and was never changed. Cleanliness of bathroom could have been better. The furniture in room, chairs and drawers, were battered and chipped. Fridge had small freezer which was blocked up with ice. Rooftop bar staff were slow to say i was only customer there.
