Clean and comfortable beds
All good
I love the size of the room for a family of four. It was very clean and the location was awesome. It was around everything in a short distance including the facility, where our basketball tournament was, we literally could walk there
N/A
Probably the worst experience and way overpriced
They didn’t fulfill any of our requests. We had to ask for special service because they didn’t have everything we asked for.
This hotel is definitely on the older side. We initially checked into a room that smelled strongly of smoke. When we requested a different room, the staff did accommodate us, though they seemed somewhat annoyed by the request.
One important thing to note: the “king room with pull-out sofa” is misleading. The pull-out sofa is only twin-sized and extremely uncomfortable—far too hard for an adult to sleep on, and not ideal for two children either. The room itself is also quite small.
On the positive side, the location is convenient, with several restaurants within walking distance, including Red Robin and other nearby options.
However, the amenities leave a lot to be desired. The main lobby feels underutilized, and breakfast doesn’t seem to be a popular or well-used option. There is no complimentary coffee or tea available—even hot water comes at a cost. Additionally, the in-room fridge is smaller than standard hotel refrigerators, which is something to keep in mind when booking.
The pool is ok; the hot tub is not hot.
So it’s fine, but just average.
Proximity
A/C and heat were awful and loud. Controllers didn’t work and couldn’t shut off. Had to change rooms at 2am and the second room was the same.
Everything was great, pool( hot tub ) was looking horrible ....
Hot tub was horrible looking( water )
Sofa bed was too hard, felt like a board
This is a normal Courtyard Marriott and met all the expectations of this hotel chain. While I was here I had a reservations issue. Hotel employee Ladajah was very helpful in satisfactory resolving my issue.
Location and friendly staff
Not enough keys for each room to have 2 each.
Location Good not bad
Got charged twice for accomodation and refund could not be processed until after checkout, a week later.
Staff were overall not very helpful.
I found a bug in my glass of water.
Checked in room 301 and saw cockroach. Front desk agent was rude and nonchalant. Talking to my wife & I while being on her phone with earbuds. I feel like our problem was not addressed. When we were moved to room 401, there was human hair on the sheet spread. & the front door lock was falling apart. When contacted by guest relations, we were informed that the roaches were “wood cockroaches” and were popular this time of the year and there was nothing they could do about them being in the rooms.
This was a very uncomfortable stay because my pregnant wife didnt sleep. For a place to charge $176/ night to customers, you should be sleeping well. I dont ask for much, nor do I go around trying to get any kind of free shit. All I ask for is my money’s worth and the Courtyard Marriott @ Glen Allen was NOT it.
The breakfast food was excellent. Girl who worked front desk was wonderful and should get a raise.
Booked 2 rooms, 1 was great, the other was infested with ants, faucet in bathroom leaked and ran down wall onto floor, bed comforter had stains.
Hospitality from staff
Nothing
Close to our function
Too expensive and taking a cold shower is unexceptible! No hot water!!! They wanted to offer me points, for what? I should have been given a reduced rate since they were offering the room for $149 and when I booked I paid $219
Great location. Breakfast could offer more for the price. No meat apart of the Breakfast.
I like the area, how comfortable it was.
The bathroom wasn’t as clean, and there were a bunch of ants crawling on the table underneath the tv.
