Great stay
Pros:

We had a lovely stay overall. Anissa was cheerful and helpful despite the hotel being extremely busy with tourist buffet service. Ella was also very warm and welcoming to guests, which made a positive difference to our experience.

The expert chef was excellent, with delicious hot meals, and breakfast was also very tasty. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was plenty of free parking available, which was very convenient. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable, giving us a great night’s sleep.

Cons:

The only disappointing part was the change to the DBB menu. The BBQ chicken option was removed after the first day. We noticed this when the manager made a fuss about it but unfortunately nobody explained the change to us the following day, which caused some confusion.

Great place to stay if you need to have an overnight stay before making an early Chunnel crossing

24h Rezeption auch spät nachts buchbar/check in! Alles Sauber aber Dusche hatte wenig Schimmel!
Frühstück: alles vorhanden!

Lage! Direkt neben der Autobahn aber dennoch keine Abfahrt - erkennt man bei der Buchung nicht und fährt nachts durchs Land…

Comfortable stay
Pros:

We have just returned from a one night stay for a family occasion and found this hotel to be welcoming, very clean and comfortable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant where we had friendly but unobtrusive service and found the food and presentation of to be of good quality, with minimal wait time. We found breakfast to be the same.
Some of the common stair areas are a little 'tired' but the stay exceeded our expectations and we would recommend.

Expectations Exceeded
Pros:

Excellent facilities, a great breakfast, and a clean room. The hotel exceeded my expectations for a Holiday Inn.

Perfect stopover on weekend away

Kat at Reception was.welcomimg and helpful
Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was superb and set us up for the day. Air-conditioning was bliss on a very hot day

Perfect location for the Euro Tunnel!
Pros:

Great staff and excellent Air Conditioning that was much needed with the 33 degree heatwave at the time.
Restaurant was ok along with breakfast. Great option and location for the Euro Tunnel. 👍

Staff and room perfect.

Cons:

We reserved a disabled room only to find the shower was in the bath, so my wife who is disabled could not get into the bath and went without showering in 30 degree temps on our journey.
