Very bad experience

Unfortunately, my stay was very noisy due to ongoing construction throughout the hotel. I informed the staff twice -one of them even before arrival -that I specifically needed a quiet room, but this was not taken into consideration (Twice). On the morning, the housekeeping staff on the floor were also quite loud, talking and laughing loudly early in the morning, which further disturbed the quiet atmosphere.

The bed which was very comfortable.

Cons:

The bedroom was a little tired and needed some attention / upgrading. For example the curtains were frayed and the shower was not the best.

Location OK, but noisy and room and bed too small for 2
Pros:

The location is great for central Cardiff however the road was noisy

Cons:

The room was very small, The TV was almost as big as the bed, no exaggeration, so for 2 was very cosy. it was difficult to access oneside of the bed. Being on the road side it was exceptionally noisy so suffice to say we didn't sleep well
