Everything was amazing!
We arrived right as it got dark. Check in went quick. We stayed here one night to avoid too much driving in one day. We stayed in a little cabin back in the woods. The sliding doors in the room didn’t completely close and it felt like we had a lot of bugs visiting us. Many ants on the floor, woke up to a scorpion in the sink. That said, we are in Costa Rica and some of that is to be expected and we are okay with that. I think next time we need to stay in Liberia and a place with more people around. I was nervous the whole night and didn’t sleep well. The main door did lock. It was the sliding door that made me nervous.
I did get a fruit plate and gallo pinto and both were delicious:)
we arrived at 6pm and checked out by 8am so we didn’t spend much time looking around. Breakfast was $9 each, so reasonable, but I misunderstood and thought it was a buffet and it wasn’t so that was my fault. Overall, although the staff was nice, we most likely won’t be back.
Great place!
Staff was excellent, very helpful! Cottage was a bit weird with all the beds in one room. Saw more wildlife here than in previous weeks touring Costa Rica! Restaurant was actually good.
Great place to stop at after or before the airport.
This place is a hidden gym. Beautiful property, nice and quiet, nice room rooms. Right next to the river for Whitewater rafting pick up and next to the animal rescue. The animal rescue is an awesome place also with pumas, Jaguars, macaws and much more, all for a good cause rehabilitating animals.
We stayed at 4 hotels while in Costa Rica, this was by far one of our most special experiences. The food was amazing, the property was gorgeous. There were monkeys all over and incredible insects. The rooms were beautiful!!
Friendly staff! The hotel has a restaurant and deer on the grounds. The room had a nice veranda with two rocking chairs. They happily supplied us with extra towels as well as pool towels. Hair dryer in the bathroom and good size room for a basic hotel. We could have used some extra pillows. We would come again!
There was no hot water to take a shower. Hard mattress.
Loved the restaurant(really really good) and they had a nice pool. Staff was amazing too. Location was a bit too close to the highway(noise) for us but easy to get to.
Friendly and helpful check in, spacious, quiet and charming room. Easy access to the property off the highway, but the room felt secluded. We saw deer, acouti, and howler monkeys. Good breakfast buffet and an easy 45 minute drive to our car rental near the airport.

Room is small compared to price charged. Bed quality is bad. Food is bad and caused us diarrhea badly.
Breakfast was quite delicious and the staff was polite and friendly.
The property was very nice/ lots of land and space to explore.

Hotel is on a large property with wildlife, Tenorio Adventure Company is across the street (highway, U turn to get there). They do tours down the rivers near there.
Hacienda is a great spot. Beautiful grounds, great restaurant, and great service. It’s showing its age a bit and could use a little updating and some maintenance. Our room was very nice and comfortable but the AC did not cool the room well. It did not detract from the overall stay though.

Service was great!
A nice room with a nice patio overlooking the lovely and large garden. Breakfast was nice and they didn't mind that we arrived late. We enjoyed going just next door to the puma rescue center to see many indigenous animals. This place was great for a night after arriving LIR airport before we kept going on our Costa Rica vacation.
