Great stay. Rooms were very clean. 5 stars, especially compared to other hotels in this area. Housekeeping staff were pleasant to deal with, and house keeping management went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Doubletree here in Lake Charles has a great staff, clean amenities, smart tvs, year round heated pool, and conveniently located where you can drive to where you’re trying to go to in Lake Charles. If you haven’t been to Lake Charles, everything is very spread out so you have to drive around.

The hotel also offers a full bar and food services on the main floor, which the food is really amazing! It is very convenient if you don’t want to go driving around all the time while visiting Lake Charles or if you’re tired and you just want to eat at the hotel!

If you’re looking for something reasonably priced while staying in Lake Charles, this is the place you want to stay!

We had reservations at Creoles for Valentines date dinner and it was amazing. They were super busy but the service never failed. Great atmosphere and the steak was cooked perfectly! We will be back.

Went to pick up my friend who was staying at the hotel. Walked in and she was wasted from the amazing drinks served at the bar. Food was splendid I had some of their gumbo. Place was clean, neat, demire and restrooms were top notch. 10/10.
Ps. Pool rocks when there are no children.

Hotel is very clean and well kept. The food is as delicious and has a good bit of variety. They also have live music some nights, bingo plus a weekend brunch if I recall correctly. The location gives quick access to the interstate which makes it convenient.

What an AMAZING HOTEL!! Everything was PERFECTION…Very Clean, Extremely Helpful Staff, RESTAURANT THAT IS TOP NOTCH, excellent Bar( with AMAZING DRINKS). Why pay a HUGE AMOUNT for a Casino, when you can stay here, at an EXCELLENT HOTEL, and feel like you are a FIVE START RESORT!!! Definitely my “GO TO HOTEL” from now on!!! THANK YOU DOUBLETREE!!

While I was enjoying a drink at the bar the Owner physically put hands on me to move me to make room for patrons he knew. When I asked for an apology, and no other accommodations, I was mocked. I would not return even if I was paid.

My wife and I were on the way home from Houston and decided to stay at the Doubletree in Sulphur. We arrived at 8 PM without a reservation. Alana was the desk person that night, Sunday October 5. She may have been the best desk clerk ever. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We are Hilton Honors members and did not have to ask for our bottles of water and even got warm chocolate chip cookies! The room was perfect in every way. Great towels.

Food was very good i had the hamburger and breakfast.
