My Go to Hotel when I go to Lake Charles the staff and the hotel is always professional. The band they have on the weekends are always good. The hotel is super clean. I wanna give a shout out to the staff Rihanna, Brittany Jason and Amanda will always stay here with a staff like that.. the hot cookies and the drinks are good and the food.
my husband and I have been staying here a few times a month since they renamed it Doubletree! What a treat - - fabulous rooms/ great hot showers // great huge televisions and the best staff.
Super convenient to I-10 and less than 20 minutes to a few different casinos.
4-5 times a week, the offer a variety of live music .. they even have other events that are welcome for the guests as well as the locals...
Don't forget to get your complimentary chocolate chip cookie!

After having a few issues in our room I had a housekeeping came in and resolved every issue we had personally. Reagan and staff went above and beyond to me our every need and made us feel like valued guests than not just another customer. I've stayed in a lot of hotels for work but I never had the head a housekeeping come in and do what she did to make things right. I will stay here again just because I know if I have any issues that they will personally take care of us. It's refreshing to see someone take such pride in their job.
Their restaurant is becoming one of my favorite places to dine at for an evening out! I've been to their Music Bingo nights each month, and just this past week I went for their Karaoke for the first time- it was a blast!! Can't wait to try their bottomless mimosas for brunch next :)
Good location and bed was comfortable.
A/C was loud, limited WiFi unless you pay extra. Shower doors would not stay completely closed. Stained seating in room, needs to be replaced. Expected more for the price.
The front desk guy and the restaurant staff were the only good thing about our stay. The restaurant had live music that we listed to in the lobby while waiting for our to go food.
The room was moldy and smelled bad. There was a kids baseball tournament so the hotel was filled with screaming kids. That’s fine, but we couldn’t eat at the restaurant and it was making the place dirty. The parents were not giving any supervision. The pool was filthy because of this and they were splashing around so much we had to leave and couldn’t enjoy it. In fact, the hotel staff had to put a wad of sheets at the pool door because the water was coming into the lobby. The shower had poor pressure but there was a good supply of hot water.
Great music/band in the evenings and the food was good.
The staff could be more helpful and there are not enough carts available for bring your belongings in and out of the hotel. There were only two and they were never at the front desk.

we frequent this property a few times a month. One of the better properties in this area-- fabulous staff // great room // confortable bed // lots of hot water // conveniently located ... they offer live music and other activites several nights a week ...

Great stay. Rooms were very clean. 5 stars, especially compared to other hotels in this area. Housekeeping staff were pleasant to deal with, and house keeping management went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
Doubletree here in Lake Charles has a great staff, clean amenities, smart tvs, year round heated pool, and conveniently located where you can drive to where you’re trying to go to in Lake Charles. If you haven’t been to Lake Charles, everything is very spread out so you have to drive around.
The hotel also offers a full bar and food services on the main floor, which the food is really amazing! It is very convenient if you don’t want to go driving around all the time while visiting Lake Charles or if you’re tired and you just want to eat at the hotel!
If you’re looking for something reasonably priced while staying in Lake Charles, this is the place you want to stay!
We had reservations at Creoles for Valentines date dinner and it was amazing. They were super busy but the service never failed. Great atmosphere and the steak was cooked perfectly! We will be back.
Went to pick up my friend who was staying at the hotel. Walked in and she was wasted from the amazing drinks served at the bar. Food was splendid I had some of their gumbo. Place was clean, neat, demire and restrooms were top notch. 10/10.
Ps. Pool rocks when there are no children.
