Located 50 mts from the sea front and close to Paciência beach, this is a great place to enjoy the Salvador atmosphere, especially during the Iemanjá party in February.
It's a charm hotel, with a main building that is an old house that was completely restored and that retains its soul. On the back one finds a modern attachment where most of the rooms are, as well as the dinning room and rooftop swimming pool.
There is also a small open area in the ground floor to relax and enjoy the view.
Talking about the view, I should mention that a great part of it disappeared due to the construction of a 12th storey building next to it, which brings quite some noise during the day and from 8AM.
The staff is warm, professional and very friendly. Great people.
The breakfast is served on the table and is very complete, fresh and tasteful. Pity about the lack of artisanal fruit jams. But all the rest is home made.
Rooms are comfortable but I didn't like the in room toilet without roof, making it annoying in terms. of noises and smells.
Some quirks and shortcomings but a very nice place to spend a few days in Bahia.

Great staff. Great location but poor view. A 19 storey building hiding the sea view. This is a great shame as they still advertise the hotel with a sea view.

Hôtel très agréable et particulièrement bien situé. Les chambres sont agréables, le petit déjeuner est varié et complet et notre coup de cœur : le personnel est absolument charmant!

3 petits bémols : le bâtiment dans lequel se situent les chambres date un peu, la piscine est vraiment très petite (plutôt un point d'eau qu'une piscine, mais vous avez la plage juste à côté) et la construction d'un nouveau bâtiment juste à côté fait que la belle vue sur la mer est un peu obstruée. Mais globalement, une très bonne expérience!

Valeu a pena a visita. Valorizei bastante o "charme" do hotel, percebe-se o cuidado com o mobiliário e os detalhes. Os atendentes bem simpáticos, a comida muuuuito boa (bem servida, bem apresentada, muito saborosa). O café da manhã servido à mesa é tb um diferencial interessante. É realmente um hotel de charme!

Wonderful, helpful, friendly and attentive staff despite the language barrier. Amazing breakfast. Spacious and stylish room though cosmetic wear and tear throughout. Good location despite the very steep hill. Safe for solo travellers

A lovely hotel nestled in a hill just above the sea. Friendly, well-priced. You're a three minute walk from a great little cove, and right on the edge of the lively Vermelho neighborhood. Other local highlights are the Casa de Lemanja temple, and Casa Theresa, a place devoted to Brazilian specialties. Swimming is wonderful. 15 minute or less drive too just about everything of interest in Salvador (Uber is cheap, reliable and generally quick).

O hotel é muito bem localizado, embora haja uma obra ao lado que inviabiliza a estadia durante o dia. Felizmente, à noite não há barulho e o descanso é tranquilo. As camas são extremamente confortáveis e os móveis têm um estilo bonito, com atmosfera de pousada boutique.

O atendimento é excelente, assim como a simpatia dos funcionários. A limpeza, entretanto, deixou a desejar: havia bastante poeira no quarto, especialmente embaixo da cama, e os boxes do banheiro precisariam de maior atenção, tanto na higienização quanto na manutenção do fluxo da água. O café da manhã foi o ponto mais fraco da experiência, extremamente abaixo do esperado.

Outro detalhe é o uso do nome “Toque”, que pode induzir comparação com outro padrão da pousada e, na prática, trata-se de algo diferente.

Apesar dessas observações, acredito que seja a melhor opção da região e voltaria a me hospedar. Torço para que melhorem e não desistam do lugar, como eu achei, pois o potencial é enorme.

Não vale o preço. Travesseiros mal cheirosos, baratas no banheiro, não se enquadra em hotel boutique e é no máximo 3 estrelas. O atendimento é bom, os funcionários também. Café da manhã bem simples.

Esperava um final de semana com vista para a praia, fui surpreendida com um hotel em uma localização perigosa e sem a vista anunciada, pois construíram um prédio na frente do hotel impedindo

Aconchegante, charmosa e todos os colaboradores foram super simpáticos! A única observação, que não altera em nada a minha classificação é que há uma construção na lateral que praticamente obstruiu a vista mar.
