Zentrale Lage, ansonsten eher enttäuschend

Cons:

Bei der Buchung wurde bestätigt, dass es hoteleigene Parkplätze gibt, die auch zur Verfügung stehen würden. Bei der Anreise war der Parkplatz wegen einer Veranstaltung, die dem Hotel bekannt gewesen sein muss, hoffnungslos überfüllt. Keine Info vorab. Chaotische Zustände. Die ganze Nacht lautstarkes rangieren vor dem Fenster, ebenso grölende Gäste der Veranstaltung bis tief in die Nacht, Hotelpersonal, das mit Müllcontainern herumfuhrwerkt etc. Schlafen war so gut wie unmöglich, auch weil es im Zimmer sehr warm war und ein Fenster geöffnet bleiben musste.

Die Lage war ideal, wiederkommen werden wir nicht.

Die Lage ist optimal um Kilkenny zu entdecken.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte dringend eine Auffrischung. Alles wirkt sehr alt und schmudelig. Unser Zimmer war hellhörig und extrem heiss bereits im Mai ohne Klimaanlage, aber ein Fenster, dass sich nur einen Spalt öffnen lässt und einem Fentilator, der einen definitiv nicht schlafen lässt.
Qualität des Frühstücks war ebenfalls sehr enttäuschend für ein 4 Sterne Haus. Da haben wir in jedem B&B besser gegessen.

A great spot for a holiday in Kilkenny!
Pros:

The location and staff were both excellent. We appreciated the free parking, the riverside restaurant, the morning breakfast was very nice.

Cons:

The WiFi was very weak. There was construction noise out our window.

Mittelmässiges Hotel mit super Lage
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr gross, jedoch in die Jahre gekommen und Aussicht hatte man keine. Das Frühstück war ok, mehr aber nicht. Die Lage war sehr gut, beim Frühstück Aussicht auf das Castle.

Cons:

Die Dusche hat nicht richtig funktioniert, musste die Haare im Lavabo ausspülen, da kein Druck mehr war und das Wasser kalt.
Die Möblierung war alt und abgenutzt.

Loved staying at the River Court Hotel, location, facilities and the staff were all great.
Pros:

The hotel was fully booked and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to the bridal suite with great bites of the castle.
Free parking onsite was a bonus.

Nothing, it was perfect.
