Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lakeland North I-4 by IHG

From the moment we arrived at the front desk seeking a hotel for the night, until we left the next morning after the complimentary breakfast, we really enjoyed this stay. We are a frequent IHG stay member but this property was above and beyond super clean, with a personal and helpful front-desk staff, and a full complimentary breakfast with so many options.
Our hotel room was clean and spacious and was quiet even though it was near the bank of elevators. There was a swimming pool being used by a family while we were there and it looked like they were having a blast. Complimentary pool towels nearby.
We highly recommend this property.

Checked in and went to my room no furniture, just a bed. I can’t believe Holiday Inn did it away with furniture in a room. Ask the girl at the desk. She didn’t know nothing she says that’s the way the rooms come very surprised.

My wife and I came to watch spring training game and stayed overnight. The manager was top notch. Very nice man.

Great location off I75. Close to restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The location was in a convenient place close to everything.

Only problem was the Flooring was very dirty with ground in dirt that made my great grandsons feet and my sister's feet just plain Black. Might want to get Floor Cleaner in here to get this up . Thank you 👍

Very nice hotel! Enjoyed the manager Mark and Carmen made sure our breakfast was always hot and plentiful! Will definitely use this hotel again!

Front desk personnel were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent. The employee working the breakfast area was very attentive, courteous and friendly. Hotel is new. Room was great. Excellent stay!

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn for my daughter's cheerleading tournament and wanted to give a big thank you to Tony and Jeremy at the desk for accommodating our requests. They always provided excellent service with smiles and laughter. We will see you next tournament!

Very clean room, lovely place and the balcony is what I was looking for, perfect for me that needed to work after midnight, I was seated in the balcony and working in my laptop.
Quiet room and comfortable mattress, I slept a little because my work, (I’m working as a designer) the internet connection is very good, the room was very private and spacious having in mind my other travels, I can compare the space, and for the price the balcony room was huge.
If you went to Lakeland, I highly recommend the balcony rooms.
The breakfast was excellent, liked to have a 4 star restaurant, the staff is very friendly, and discreet, which I loved in an Hotel, not matter the price.
In general this hotel is a gem between Orlando and Tampa, in the middle of Lakeland. ( 45 min from Orlando and about 34 minutes from Tampa)
I highly recommend it.

When I checked in, I asked the night desk clerk about a unique sign at a Lakeland auto dealership, but I only had a vague description. He didn’t recognize what I asked about. However, when I checked out early the following morning the overnight person had looked up the sign and gave me directions to find the landmark. It turns out to be the “Rotosphere” and is located at Jenkins Mercury.

The staff went above and beyond to help me find a place I’d visited several years before. I appreciate their help!

Easy access, quiet area, spacious rooms. Breakfast included. The beds were a bit squeaky, I think inner spring or box springs. Luxury vinyl appeared clean, but my white socks were very dirty from wearing in the room. staff was very nice.

Our pipes broke and we checked in while the plumbers were fixing our house. The staff was very friendly and after a quick check in, we enjoyed a nice hot shower! The beds were comfy and I almost overslept breakfast.

Why did housekeeping use this shower curtain? It was ripped and several metal grommets missing. When we notified the front desk, it was immediately replaced with one in good condition. But housekeeping should not have used it in the first place. Makes you wonder what else they decided to cut corners on when cleaning the room.

Great staff! They were very friendly! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! The breakfast was fully stocked, the area clean and the food was great! Seamless check in and check out! Would absolutely stay at this hotel again!

Great tight parking but over all a great stay clean modern style friendly front desk staff available 24hrs a day! Located right off I4 it’s convenient to local events has food and drinks onsite so no need to leave the hotel

Had a last minute booking, arrived at 2:30 am and Nicole at the front desk was friendly and accomodating and ready with my room as soon as I arrived. Could not have asked for better service I appreciate her friendliness and preparation to get me settled into my room so quickly.

I stayed at holiday in express north in Lakeland Kayla assisted me multiple times on Thanksgiving and each time still a very pleasant and polite smile and beautiful tone. This is Thanksgiving day and to experience someone working on a holiday even dealing with difficult situations and not losing her smile or making me feel like I was the issue was very nice and calming. Thank you Kayla you definitely made the stay worth it!!!
