Pros:

The room was very nice and clean stuff were nice

Cons:

Was told we had an upper room, and when we got there, it was disappointed that we were downgraded to downstairs .
With no discount or future discount, we do not mind paying a little bit more for having a view.
We come out that way two to three times a year, and we normally stay at the Clifford Gardens Motel, but standard has dropped immensely in the last year or so ,
So we decided to pay a little bit more money and we decided to go with use guys was looking forward to upstairs with a view, for it was my wife's birthday and as an elderly couple we do enjoyed a little bit of view not looking at a tin fence.😔.
Downstairs was still a very nice room. Don't get me wrong, very nice ,but we do enjoy having a little bit of a view . Thank you.

Cons:

Booked this on Booking.com and was charged for it, only to be contacted by the Motel to say that they did not have the type of room that I had booked and that Booking.com had already been told this previously when they renovated their rooms. They advised that they had a Queen room with one bed but not the room I had booked with a queen bed and a single bed which is what was required as it was for me and my adult son, so two beds were required. This notification happened two days before my expected visit. Not happy with either the Hotel or Booking.com.

Pros:

The staff was friendly and attentive. We found the manager to be charming and very friendly. Great space and lovely rooms with very good value for money. I felt this hotel was taken good care of and the staff clearly loved their jobs.

Cons:

The space did seem a little sketchy and unsafe outside of the rooms. I had someone break into my car and go through it. Nothing was stolen, but there aren't any security cameras around and I was very nervous for the rest of my visit.
The restaurant was also closed for the duration of our stay, this meant we couldn't pop over and get dinner on site and had to plan meals well in advance since the nearby shops close at 5pm.

We are return customers because the rooms, staff and food are all excellent
