Oakfield Inn & Suites Rochester, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Was in town for a weekend event at the University of Rochester. This property was apx 15 minutes away in a great safe location. The area is quiet and the rooms were extremely clean. I stayed in a king size bedroom and it was perfect for the weekend. I would definitely stay here next time I am in town.

Hotel, lobby, hallways, room renovated modernizing an old building. Very, very clean. Snack and drink bar in lobby were a nice surprise. Bathroom is tiny but workable. Shower door doesn’t remain fully closed so unfortunately water gets on floor.

Very convenient sport. Room was clean, bathroom unfortunately very small. Hotel itself was clean and well cared for. Rooms were updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location close to downtown. Property is well maintained and extremely clean.

Perfect Stay

Home 2 is a great format, and provided an excellent venue for our family reunion.

Building and rooms were clean. Pillows way too fat and there is no choice if softness or fullness. All pillows the same. Beds fair

The place was fine. We were visiting a friend at SMH, so we didn't spend a lot of time there. The people were super nice.

Property is brand new, beautiful suite, great staff, newly renovated. Great stay

Incredible night sleep on super comfortable bed! Convenient for one night stay. Newly remodeled. Walkable Starbucks & D&D.

This was my second visit and strange enough I stayed in the same room as last month. This time though I was not as impressed as there was fashion jewelry on the floor, hair on the wall in the bathroom and half of the beverages in the fridge were drank and put back leaving me to think I’d be charged. If these things were over looked I couldn’t help but wonder what else wasn’t cleaned. The customer service here is great and so is the location but I’m not sure if stay here again.

No extra blanket, no plant based milk for coffee, hair on my sink.

I did not realize for the first 2 days that the room was not checked daily but that if you asked for it to be serviced it would be. Just be aware of that. It was not a big deal in that as long as I made sure before being out for the day that anything we needed (TP, towels, coffee cups etc) we asked for at the front desk; hubby also emptied our garbage once. Truthfully once I knew, it was not a big deal at all. The staff were always so friendly and willing to help! The hotel was very clean. Teeny teeny bathrooms so beware. Nicely stocked small kitchen with cereal bars, fresh fruit, juices. I would consider staying again for short periods of time. Also, if you are on the 2nd floor there is no elevator so if you need one, be sure to ask in your reservation

Recently renovated and in excellent condition. No elevator to the second floor but stay was able to assist. Highly recommend this location!

Our room was comfy and clean with great snack options! Loved the bathroom and how clean it was too!
