A true gem in the hospitality industry — and at a very reasonable price.

A special mention goes to Moses, the gentleman from Ghana who checked us in. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. The management should truly value him — he is one of the best brand ambassadors a hotel could hope for.

The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast offered a generous and varied selection. That said, the bakery items could be improved — they felt more like standard supermarket goods than freshly baked or artisan-quality pastries.

We had an early flight on our departure day, and were pleasantly surprised to receive a thoughtfully prepared takeaway breakfast.

All in all, we felt genuinely welcome and very well taken care of. Thank you for a memorable stay!

It's an old hotel and the rooms show it. Outdated everything. Extremely poor lighting. Dirty carpets. Dark. However, the service is outstanding. Managers Simon and Haneef were quick to help with absolutely anything and everything I needed for my 12 day stay. That included helping me get an upgrade to a suite at a time when the hotel was almost completely booked. Ms. Noor at the front desk was gracious and professional. The porters, valets, and room service people were equally as professional and obviously well-trained. What I like about this property is that I use it for business every few years and even after TEN years, the staff welcome me by name. it feels like home. And the restaurants are all outstanding.

The team at the property are just fantastic. Hotel is extremely well kept. Room was spacious and fantastic. Location is in the heart of the shopping area of Kuwait. Easy to access all parts of the city. It’s been a really great stay and the team at the hotel have made it most memorable. There are some 6 really good restaurants as well in the property. I tried the Chinese place and it was outstanding. I’m told the Indian and middle eastern restaurants are also very good. I believe them. Well done Holiday Inn Salmiya Kuwait.

I always come back to Holiday Inn Salmiya when in Kuwait. The hotel itself is homely with three excellent restaurant choices. Reception staff Sara, Erika and Tereza were very helpful and charming. Managers Hani and Simon always greet and nothing is too much to ask.
