Our room was very far from the elevator, the key often did not open the room, we had to go to the front desk many times to have it reset.

Location was good

Cons:

I specifically asked both booking.com and IHG for my rooms to be together. This wasnt fufilled nor was I informed the request couldnt be fufilled prior to our stay. On one of our days, the rooms had not been cleaned. There was a smell in one of my rooms. Overall, very disappointed.

Pros:

Ich fande es sehr schön, da die Lage sehr gut war man konnte gut mit Bus überall hin. Es war sauber das Personal freundlich. Und außerdem war es schön das direkt nebenan ein Zoo war.

The rooms were spacious, and the swimming pool was decent. The hotel also had a few extra activities like a foosball table, which was a nice plus

Cons:

The corridor in the hotel felt old and a bit creepy, and the bathroom really needs refurbishment to give it a more modern look. Breakfast was the same every day, which becomes boring during a longer stay. There were no restaurants nearby, so dining options were very limited. The hotel could benefit from several improvements.

Basic but clean
Pros:

Basic anonymous rooms, small but perfectly clean. Soap fixed to the wall at shower height which is not much use if you take a bath. Good breakfast. The main issue was that unless you arrive by car the hotel is difficult to access with either a lot of stairs or a steep slope to climb. Although there are bus stops nearby there are no convenient shops in the immediate vicinity. We had booked ahead through a comparison sight but the tariff displayed at the door was even more outrageously expensive but then it is Edinburgh.

Für mich persönlich war die Lage perfekt. Der Bar-Aufenthaltsbereich waren toll. Bei schlechtem Wetter konnte man sich dort aufhalten. Der Service dort war hervorragend und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer praktisch, sauber und gemütlich.

Cons:

Ich hätte mir eine kleine Minibar/Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer gewünscht. Der Fußgänger-Eingang ist über Stufen erreichbar. Sonst muss man über die Straße hoch laufen.

Impossible de dormir.
Pros:

Très bon emplacement.
Bon petit-déjeuner.

Cons:

Aucune insonorité.
Bruit des chambres à côté et surtout bruit incessant une grande partie des deux nuits depuis la chambre du dessus, la personne ou les personnes marchant de long en large pendant des heures et sautant parfois jusqu’à plus de minuit et avant 5 heures du matin.
