Wonderful old hotel with modern facilities in the heart of El Centro.
Pros:

Great location in the center part of the city. Big airy rooms. Lovely pool. Very friendly staff. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Protected parking lot with plenty of spaces.

Cons:

There wasn't much not to like--the facility served us very well. The in-house laundry service was a bit pricy, but they did a good job.

Beautiful Space, Excellent Location
Pros:

The space is absolutely beautiful and the location in Centro couldn't be better. I will say the stated rate was in our estimation a bit high, but Booking.com's discount sweetened the deal!

Cons:

Disappointed because this property has potential to be a great stay.
Pros:

No breakfast....but good location. The pool was not in the sun and not inviting. Beautiful garden but no nice lighting or music for ambiance. No colorful flowers..no books or ornaments. The chandeliers in the courtyard were all missing... just cords hanging... really weird!?!?

Cons:

The sitting area/kitchenette was really goofy with useless furniture like a cabinet and bar counter that took up space instead of a table and chairs that could be useful. No chair to sit on balcony.
The room overlooks an overgrown garden and a fountain that wasn't operating and dangerous stepping stones .

Pros:

L’emplacement, l’hôtel en dehors des chambres (patio, piscine) est plutôt joli

Cons:

La chambre était inconfortable au possible :
- draps rugueux, oreillers si vieux qu’ils se délitaient à l’intérieur, salle de bain plus que vieillissante
- wifi quasi inexistant, bruit électrique constant la nuit, le frigo était tellement bruyant qu’on a du le débrancher et donc frigo non fonctionnel
- baignoire non fonctionnelle puisque le bouchon ne fermait pas
- pour couronner le tout : un cafard dans la chambre la deuxième nuit
- vue piscine en théorie (payé pour) mais entièrement cachée par la végétation (donc chambre très sombre)
- la moitié des réceptionnistes ne parle pas anglais
À ce stade c’est pas une question de malchance

Los lugares comunes del hotel son muy bonitos y tiene una gran ubicación para moverse caminando en el Centro de Mérida.

Cons:

A las habitaciones les falta mantenimiento y también una limpieza más profunda.

The location was excellent, parts of the hotel very beautiful but rooms and service disappointing
Pros:

There was no breakfast served the first morning. We ate at the restaurant the next morning and the quality was poor. The lobby and pool area were beautiful.

Cons:

There were very few people there, staff or guests. Front desk staff challenged to check us in and checked us in to the wrong room. We moved to the correct room. The bathroom door came partly unhinged one night. Room service came at inconvient times.
