Pgué demasiado para el servicio que recibí
Pros:

El desayuno esta bueno y ofrecen variedad. La zona de la pisicina tambien esta bien para relajarse.

Cons:

Las habitaciones son pequeñas y estan muy desactualizadas cuando comparas lo que pagas y ves lo que recibes. Se escucha el ruido, no estan nada insonorizadas y en los baños hay abundantes hormigas.

Lovely Pool Area
Pros:

The pool area and grounds are quite lush and beautiful. There are a couple of iguanas, a raccoon family and at dusk some howler monkeys that visit. There are very good restaurants close by as well as a few Food Court/Food Truck areas with good food options.
The staff was 50/50, with a younger gal, whose name I didn’t catch, being there most often who was very nice. She also made fantastic margaritas at Happy Hour. There was also a young man that was often there for breakfast and he was very attentive. He also made sure dishes were cleared promptly. The rest of the staff left breakfast dishes sitting so there were no cleared tables to sit at, were on their cell phones and inconvenienced if you wanted something.
The breakfasts, which we paid to have included, were excellent. Great options and always fruit on the side.

Cons:

Most staff seemed inconvenienced if you needed something (see exceptions above). The rooms were clean enough but not sparkling. However, the cleaning staff were efficient and had our room clean by 4:00 each day.
We were looking forward to live music as described in the Booking description but they no longer have that.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war hervorragend incl. Parkplatz. Wirklich eine grüne Oase mit schönen Pool mitten in der Stadt.
Die Betten sehr bequem, kleine persönliche Terrasse vor jedem Bungalow. Sehr gut zum Verweilen. Das gesamte Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

In dieser idyllischen Oase kamen auch Leguane und Affen zu Besuch.

Cons:

Die Polsterauflagen im Poolbereich, sowie auf der Terrasse sollten erneuert werden.

Good location that is walking distance to the center of town and the beach. The staff was friendly and the area around the pool was clean.

Cons:

Our room had a few ants on our first day and we dealt with it. However the amount of ants increased each day until there were a few hundred by the 3rd day. We didn’t have any food lying around and they came through cracks in the bathroom shower and bedroom along the walls near the sliding front door. We had to shake our bed sheets to get them out of the bed as well.

We brought this to the attention of the staff and they said it’s something that happens with being in a jungle environment but would have someone get rid of them. I took video as well just in case they didn’t believe us in regards to how many ants were in the room. We only had one more night so we just dealt with the ants and the only reason why we didn’t demand another room is because the ants would appear and then die within a day so, but then more would show up which is why we finally said something on the third day.

We consider ourselves not to be high maintenance travelers and pretty hardy people however this is something we’re pretty sure most people would not be happy to encounter. Also, sound travels in this area and you can hear music and thumping bass until around 12:30 AM most nights.

Solo volvería por la cama y si limpian la piscina

La cama, con su colchón King perfecto. La renovación en la ducha es buena.

Cons:

Solicité el domingo a las 8:00 am un elemento para limpiar la piscina, porque estaba imposible de hojas y ramas (por el obvio entorno natural); me indicaron "vamos a ver si el compañero nos ayuda"... y nunca apareció nadie, ni a limpiarla ni a traerme el elemento para limpiarla yo.
Otro detalle muy erróneo es haber hecho debajo del lavatorio una grada, que IMPIDE que uno se aproxime al lavamanos para su uso (chocan los pies!!!!!)... a quien se le ocurrió un ANTIDISEÑO tan espantoso!!

Cute hotel the heart of Tamarindo with great staff and breakfasts.
Pros:

The location and the staff were great. Very cute hotel in the center of it all. Allen was the best ! He made us feel welcomed everyday at breakfast. The wildlife that came in the morning for breakfast was amazing! Monkeys , iguanas, birds it was so cool.

Cons:

The rooms could use a refresh here and there. But they were cleaned everyday.

Expensive for what it is
Pros:

Very well located hotel, close to the beach and to town. Good breakfast (it is not buffet style, you choose one option of plate and it comes with fruits).Comfortable matress.

Cons:

The hotel has potential but it needs a lot of renovations and TLC..Towels were old and not good. Toilet paper was awful. No blackout curtains and there was a light right in front of our room... Employees from restaurant were not bad but not proactive either...

The place is EXACTLY what we expected it to be and would stay there again for sure.
Pros:

The hotel was lovely and provided everything we needed - pool, restaurant, security, good location etc.

Cons:

The only "not positive" comment we could make is that we had an end unit and it was a little noisy later in the evening, however, Tamarindo is not a quiet place and it would not deter us from staying there again.

Pros:

Room was extremely clean and well put together. It was really easy to access and everything seemed well put together.

Cons:

Breakfast was okay. Not the best we had but it was convenient and nice to have in the morning.
