It was good, friendly but hotel needs better care!
Pros:

The staff & owner were extremely friendly & it had a great location!

Cons:

Honestly it felt abandoned & we felt it needed a bit of love. The rooms are good, clean but it felt very dark & we always had to ask the staff to turn on the property lights in evening. Nothing to hang your clothes & pillows need to be changed.
On our last day we were rushed by the staff to leave since we were the only guests & they were given the day off. I was using the facilities in my room when one of the girls yelled they were locking the gate to all go to the beach. This rushing caused me to leave behind my work cell charger.

Perfect location, cozy bed and beautiful garden.
Pros:

Beautifully maintained, we love that it looks "Costa Ricain" not modern luxury.
Super friendly staff. We missed having the restaurant for dinner but the low season rates were a fair trade.

Cons:

Coffee maker in the room, not espresso

Anticuado y plagado de mosquitos

La ubicación

Cons:

Instalaciones anticuadas y con poco mantenimiento, especialmente el baño y la ducha. La puerta de la habitación no cerraba correctamente. Abundancia de mosquitos en la habitación. La limpieza fue muy deficiente, limitándose prácticamente a estirar las sábanas sin realizar una limpieza adecuada. El desayuno también era muy básico.

En conjunto, el peor hotel de nuestro viaje por Costa Rica. No lo recomendamos.

Hôtel très agréable et au calme
Pros:

Un vrai havre de paix au milieu de l’agitation de Tamarindo. L’hôtel est très joli avec sa piscine au milieu de la végétation, l’immense espace restaurant et le billard.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres.
Le personnel est gentil et la cuisine plutôt bonne.

Little oasis in a busy town
Pros:

Location, monkeys visiting the mango tree, little oasis in the middle of the town, refreshing pool, kind stuff taking care of the property

Cons:

We were greeted by about 40 mosquitos in our room, which we had to kill all otherwise we wouldn't be able to sleep. The security guard kindly offered another room, but we decided to stay and sort them out.
