A surprising gem.
Pros:

It was clean and quiet and the front end staff were good. It also had a nice breakfast.

Gut für einen Kurztrip
Pros:

Sehr großes Zimmer, bequeme Betten und unkomplizierter digitaler Check-In. Alles sauber.

Cons:

Sehr hellhörig. Wir haben die Zimmernachbarn und die Züge, welche auch nachts direkt vorbei fahren, sehr laut gehört. Leider war das Zimmer nicht gut schallisoliert.

The new was very comfortable

Cons:

The colour scheme in the room and especially in the bathroom was far too dark! The dark accent wall above the sink was so dark along with the extremely dimly lit vanity light that one couldn't see well enough to shave or put on make up etc (was nice that it had been renovated mind you).
The Keurig coffee maker didn't work properly.
The continental breakfast was okay but they needed more staff to replenish certain items.

Great, clean hotel room - too close to the railway tracks + hot tub under construction
Pros:

The room matched the pictures. Front desk staff was very friendly. I liked that the doors didn't require a key and just a pin code. The room was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked the bathroom - nice big tub, lots of towels, and lovely bath products were provided.

Cons:

I was extremely disappointed that the hot tub was not in service. I only stayed at this hotel for one night of the Labour Day long weekend. I live in Edmonton, Alberta and I drove a very long way to stay one night in Revelstoke, BC. There were other hotel options for me and a large part of the reason I picked this hotel was the outdoor hot tub that I was very excited to use. I wish that I would have received notice ahead of time that one of the hotel's main features was not available or when I checked in as I could have planned to go to a hot spring in the area. This was a big let down and I would like to be compensated for the lack of facilities offered. The hotel is also so close to the train track and my room faced the track. Earplugs were provided but it was extremely loud.
