Nice stay, car charger in car park
Pros:

Clean and easy to access from the motorway. Also it had a slow car charger which was great for overnight charging.

Comfortable hotel but stay out of the bar!!
Pros:

Comfortable and clean, lots of parking spaces. Staff very nice and helpful

Cons:

The bar prices are extortionate. 6.15gbp for a pint of stella lager. In addition the bar at the function closed at 11pm.

Had kids with me 8&7 year old
and try to keep them off mobile phones etc but difficult as although TV had 200 stations only about 6 worked and showing 1970’s sitcom garbage…all of them

What I expected and much better than some of the equivalent places I’ve stayed in.
Cons:

There was the odd item showing it’s age like the paintwork but I’m not precious about that.

Wir hatten ein Premium Zimmer
TV ist total veraltet und entspricht nicht der heutigen Zeit und schon garnicht 4 Sterne Standard. Toiletten in der Lobby werden auch nur gelegentlich gereinigt und sind total veraltet und offensichtlich wird in diesem Hotel auch nicht mehr in Neuerungen investiert.
Wir waren bereits das dritte mal in diesem Hotel seit 2017 und konnten beobachten wie der Standard immer schlechter wird.
Am Samstag Abend war eine Party unter unserem Zimmer (Premium Standard) im Seminarraum.
Die Musik war so laut dass das Zimmer eigentlich unbewohnbar war. Und das nennt sich 4 Sterne Standard??!!

A last minute wonder!
Pros:

We were really impressed by the food, staff and room at the hotel.
After a long day of travelling followed by a nightmare issue at another property we quickly booked the Holiday Inn for the same day for me and my family and I’m so glad we did!
We could not fault the room’s cleanliness and how accommodating and friendly the staff were. We also ordered room service food which was so tasty.
We stayed for only a night to attend an event locally but it was perfect for what we needed it for.
Lovely touches in the room with biscuits and Yorkshire teabags.
Would recommend and would stay again if we need to come back to the area - thank you!
