*AMAZING* location for animal lovers of all kinds! We also truly enjoyed meeting all of your super friendly, thoughtfully responsive, and genuinely kind staff members - Muchas Gracias to everyone!!! And the food & drinks were always delicious and made with the freshest ingredients, a mix of Tico-style comida tipica + other tasty menu items (the ramen was a special treat)... we ate so well!

Tiskita is a truly magical place. We had an unforgettable experience there. The location, lodging, property, food and staff exceeded our expectations. The lodge is a collection of beautifully constructed cabins nestled within a reforested jungle overlooking the pacific. The expansive property has both an expansive trail network and lovely amenities for relaxation. We split our time between learning about the local flora and fauna on guided walks with their amazing naturalist, Mario, reading by the pool while watching monkey traverse the canopy above, surfing world class waves, and walking along the beach as sunset. Traveling around the area during our visit highlighted how special the lodge is and we felt very fortunate to have booked a cabin there.

Le concept est original, les chambres sont dispersées au milieu du parc de l'hôtel. Vous serez réellement au milieu de la nature. À ne pas manquer près de l'hôtel : le refuge pour les nids de tortues. Si vous avez la chance d'être là un jour d'éclosion vous aurez l'opportunité de mettre à l'eau les bébés tortues. Inoubliable !!!
Une excursion est également offerte par l'hôtel au sein de leur "grand jardin"...

This is a heavenly place. Our lodge looked over to the sea and we were surrounded by wildlife and breathtaking views.The pool was cooling and the food was second to none. Our hosts were friendly and so very helpful.

Stunning location in the jungle 5 mins walk from beach

A very nice getaway surrounded by forest, wildlife, and the sound of the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the cabins were simple, but confortable.

This was the most expensive accommodation we booked on our trip this time to CR.
We booked this property months prior to going and had received a free upgrade through booking.com so we were looking forward to the deluxe bungalows that boasted outside showers and ocean views. It was to be the highlight of our trip and the last place the 4 of us were to be together before travelling home. The room upgrade didn't happen, and when asked the staff were dismissive, with no apology or explanation and suggested I took my complaint to booking.com. As you can imagine, this was really disappointing.
On the positive side, the place itself is in a beautiful setting with glimpses of the sea from our rooms. The bird and wildlife are wonderful and the grounds extensive to wander around. The sea is a 20 minute walk away and well worth the trek back up the hill.

The place is really nice! However the value for money could be improved adding some extra breakfast time and variety and some additional amenities.

What an amazing experience to live within the jungle!

The lodge is superbly located on the edge of tropical jungle overlooking the Pacific. It's magically endowed with colorful flora and fauna.
The owners are genuinely warm and hospitable. The staff are attentive and courteous.

We look forward to our next stay next year. We stayed a week this time and could have enjoyed another one.

We loved everything! It was the best hotel experience we ever had. I think I cannot describe in these few words how good it really was.
Facilities, service, food: top notch.

Incredible place.

Our stay at the Tiskita Jungle Lodge was very dreamlike. Laying in a hammock on the back porch of our lodge which overlooked the ocean while surrounded by the nature of the jungle with monkeys and toucans nearby. The meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner included with our stay) were out of this world delicious! Walks through the jungle towards the fruit farm and waterfall w/swim pools were quite scenic as well. I also highly recommend horseback riding from Tiskita Jungle Lodge to catch the sunset along the beach where the jungle meets the ocean. It is truly a “bucket list” to-do that you will most enjoy and remember forever.
