Emplacement et charme
The room was very comfortable with the air conditioning responsive to temperature adjustments. The breakfast was excellent and had all the options I expected from an "English" breakfast. Parking was more than adequate as well, even with an ongoing wedding reception.
I can't think of anything I didn't like
I love the atmosphere there
Beautiful views from the balcony, very clean, super bathroom with both an overhead and hand-held shower hose with fantastatic water pressure, the complimentary coffee capsules that come with the Nespresso machine.
I was very disappointed that the hotel does not offer a small breakfast platter within their room service menu. This was my first holiday with my partner and was looking forward to a romantic breakfast in bed together at least once.
The TV was basic, no bluetooth, not connected to the internet, so impossible to either stream content (bbc iplayer, itvx, youtube, netflix, apple tv, amazon prime, etc.) directly from the TV or to cast content from ipad or iphone. For the price you pay, a smart TV in 2026 is the bare minimum. Internet connection in general was good though.
I was hoping that the balcony would be completely private, as in no direct neighbours just inches away…. Luckily we were there during working days so it was relatively quiet but on a weekend with good weather, expect your neighbours sitting outside too to be able to hear every word of your private conversation. My partner and I are a same-sex relationship so privacy and discretion for us is PARAMOUNT.
The location.
Very good
The lot
I’ve stayed here many times before and always been happy with the room and service - a but disappointing this time
I had emailed in advance to ask for a room with space and when I arrived we were given a tiny room, at the back of the hotel overlooking ? Generators that were quite noisy - very little room to move around with suitcases - the service however was very good as usual
The service level was amazing. Whatever you needed was available, no matter what time of day or night. Karen on the front desk was so kind and professional
The bed was super comfortable. The amenities in the room were superb! The staff are always accommodating and friendly. Definitely book dinner and breakfast as the food is 10/10
