I would stay here again. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives.
Pros:

Amazing location. Short walk to the metro, dozens of restaurants and a bus stop across the road. Super comfy beds I had a great nights sleep every night I stayed here. Surprisingly quiet given its location.

Cons:

The property is a bit dated. The bathroom left a bit to be desired, but to be fair the bathrooms (and indeed the whole property) was kept clean and tidy at all times. The walls are very thin and if there were noisy people staying you would definitely be disturbed. Facilities are bare minimum.

The room was too small, the kettle was very dirty and had never been washed, the receptionist was unfriendly, there was only one new toilet tissue and the others were just leftovers from previous visitors, there was no bottled drinking water, only tap water from the bathroom and toilet.

Pros:

We've stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transport, making it convenient to get around Sydney. Street parking is usually easy to find on weekends, although guests should be aware of the clearway on weekdays from 3pm–7pm.

The rooms are cosy, comfortable, and have everything we need for our stay. Nothing overly fancy, but clean, welcoming, and great value. We also love the beautiful garden at the front of the property, which adds to the charm and creates a relaxing atmosphere.

Overall, it's a comfortable and convenient place to stay, which is why we keep coming back. We would happily recommend it to others.

Cons:

There were a few issues during our most recent stay. No face towel was provided, and the drinking glasses were dirty. As this seems to be a recurring issue, we now bring our own dishwashing detergent and drying cloth.

We also needed extra toilet paper and coffee sachets. When we asked at reception, we felt like we were being treated as if we were trying to start another 2020 toilet paper shortage, rather than simply needing enough to get through the night!

The next morning, we discovered the milk portions had expired, which explained the odd taste in the coffee. The air-conditioning remote was also not working, and the bathroom could do with some maintenance, with cracks and mould visible on some tiles.

Despite these issues, the location, convenience, and value for money keep us coming back. We'd happily stay again and hope to see a few improvements in the future.
