Great location
Not enough elevators for the amount of guests and service
It was close to grand central, Madison square garden and most places!
N/A
The location is very good, very close to Times Square; the facilities were clean, the staff was very friendly—a very good option.
crowded elevator in the mornings
Easy to navigate, free breakfast, morning Chef was friendly and went above and beyond
Elevator issues. Only two elevators that are also used by staff and cleaning which caused even more delays. On our last day the elevator went on private operation and staff was transporting people up and down while elevator was in service. We were not aware that we had to request a pickup from the 19th floor. Better communication was needed. Ended up taking the stairs after waiting for the elevator to take us down for several minutes.
I don’t see how they make this place run so smoothly—great staff from the front desk to the breakfast crew. Standout help from Zay and Alfonzo, but everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The rims are cramped and the elevators jammed, but the location and people make it great.
Location was good.
Elevators didn't work half the time, they said they had valet parking but it was not available due to construction so we had to find our own parking which was almost impossible.
Staff was amazing and helpful from check in to check out. Location was great. Breakfast was great.
The wait for the elevator was almost always really long.
Andy the assistant manager was very helpful as were all the staff. The room was exceptionally clean. The free breakfast was incredible, including great waffles made to order.
Th A/C was temperamental.
I stayed here in August 2026 while attending conferences nearby. My disability relapses unpredictably, and when symptoms returned a few weeks before the trip I tried to modify or cancel my reservation and could not, because I had booked through Expedia (which apparently forfeited all rights as a human). The hotel's website showed accessible rooms available that week, so I requested a low floor in the Hilton app and had my power chair delivered to the hotel ahead of my arrival.
Zay M. the front desk manager, checked me in arranged for my chair to be brought out to me at the front desk. Even so, I was never offered an accessible room. I had requested the 3rd floor and was assigned the 29th. No one said a word about any rules for the chair, including any rule against bringing it into my room, which is how I get around (and the manager even pointed to where the elevators where so I could access my room while I was in the chair).
The room's entryway was tight and there was a mirror in the entryway, and that evening the chair cracked the mirror. I reported it to the front desk myself within minutes and said I probably needed an ADA accommodation. The employee, Marwane, who answered responded with real care: they asked if I was okay, apologized that no accessible rooms were open that night, offered to remove the mirror and shift furniture so I could move safely, and promised to keep checking ADA availability. I said I could make do for the night. If it had ended there, this would be a different review.
Instead Zay M. took over the conversation and the tone turned accusatory. I was told I had never mentioned my mobility issues to him when I checked in. This is the same manager who had my power chair brought to me at check-in. I was told I should not have brought the chair into the room, and that I would pay for the mirror, later quoted to me at $400. It should be noted the hallway outside of the rooms are not wide enough to walk around if my chair was parked there.
I asked to speak with someone else and was told there was no one else and that he was the only manager. When I called Hilton's guest assistance line that evening, the representative checked with the hotel and came back saying I had been offered an ADA accommodation and declined it (probably in reference to my purchase on Expedia in March). That is not what happened, and it contradicts what the hotel's own staff had texted me an hour earlier.
I left that night, in a thunderstorm, and another hotel had an accessible room ready for me within an hour. Between the forfeited nights, the mirror charge, and a last-minute room elsewhere, this stay cost me well over a thousand dollars. It was my first trip without my caregiver for an academic conference that I am presenting at. I would much better have been preparing for that, than writing this review.
There was no understanding of ADA, no understanding of customer service, and there seemed to be way more interest in punishing and dehumanizing guests with disabilities than welcoming them.
Top Lage, gutes Frühstück. Für New York preislich ok, dennoch teuer
Good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was simple but good to have. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Free cookies in the morning and ability to make a free hot drink downstairs was a bonus too.
Huge choice of eateries nearby including a great deli a minute away. Nearest Subway about 10 mins walk. High Line 15 mins walk. Bryant Sq and 5th Ave shopping less than 15 mins walk. Summit One and Grand Central Stn less than 20 mins walk. Centre of Times Sq and Broadway theatres less than 20 mins walk. Felt safe walking home late at night. We didn't take taxis or Ubers due to so much traffic. Walk or tap and go on the Subway (3$ per journey, 13th journey onwards is free).
Sometimes needed to wait for the lift as we were on 28th floor (but not that bad). Hotel is a need of some updating eg a little dated, however this did not impact our stay.
New York hotels are very expensive with small rooms. All things considered I think the overall package and what we paid was quite good for New York and I would stay there again.
El desayuno estaba bastante completo y habia pequeñas variaciones todos los dias, el personal muy amable
por momentos habia que esperar el ascensor en los horarios pico
