Very convenient hotel!
Pros:

The entire hotel was nice, the area was very walkable to many stores, restaurants, bars, and even a dog park!

Cons:

Maybe needs an actual closet? But the hangers worked perfectly.

Nice facility but will not return based on experience with staff
Pros:

The room was very nice. Convenient location.

Cons:

The staff entered my room at 9am, uninvited while i was sleeping the morning after my wedding. They were told to get out and then continued knocking and coming back saying they needed to inspect our room. We decided to leave earlier than normal checkout time even after requesting a late check out so we could relax after our wedding. They didn’t attempt to call the room but barged in instead and continued coming back harassing us to let them in. They claimed there was a complaint of water leak but that does not justify entering a room uninvited or without a proper phone call. They did not even offer to make this right with us.

Great stay in a wonderful location

i was a little concerned about the recent negative reviews, but I am happy to say that we had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet. Our room was really nice and very comfortable. they allowed us to bring our small dog without the typical exorbitant fee at other hotels. we loved the location as it was in the residential section of short pump and not in the middle of the mall like other hotels we stayed at. the middle of the mall are noisy and crowded, but the Aloft was much better for the money. we wil stay there again when in richmond

Pros:

I was agast that the representative at the front desk could not give me a room when I walked in. He said to sit in the lobby on my phone and reserve a room online. My email address that was registered with Bonvoy was stuck in a digital nightmare and I couldn’t log onto my account. I then went onto Expedia to get my room. The entire hour the front desk rep knew I wanted and needed a room but he was simply a face hired by Aloft…to do what? Not helpful. In the morning the new representative at the front desk was amazing. Five stars for her. The housekeeping staff 5star. I witnessed other guests not happy with things but I understand that’s hearsay. If this place wasn’t right next to ACAC I wouldn’t stay here again.
