Crowne Plaza Festival City by IHG

Started our 7 night trip at this hotel (prior to heading to Anu Dhabi) because we’d stayed here before and really like it. Little did we realise we’d be stranded and stay for a further 7 nights after we were supposed to be back home because of the conflict. Despite a very challenging time for their staff and guests, this hotel looked after us incredibly well. It’s a great location, near airport, situated on the creek and next to the IHG IC and Festival City mall. Everything is clean, lovely pool areas, good gym - brilliant, brilliant staff. Thank you for looking after us and making us feel very safe - special shout out to Jony at the pool bar and Michel on reception. We’ll be back ASAP.

I stayed at the Dubai Festival City Crowne Plaza during Feb/March 2026 and really a fabulous hotel, location and staff. View from my room was looking across the Dubai Creek towards the Mohammed bin Rashid Library and downtown Dubai so a view I never got tired of seeing. The Crowne Plaza location attached to the Festival City Mall was also very convenient and gave many great options for shopping, restaurants and coffee cafe’s. Also the Belgium Cafe was attached to the Crowne Plaza and, I think, was the best place in Dubai to enjoy a nightly drink out on the patio and the staff there was the best 👏. Really the staff throughout the Crowne Plaza was superb in every regard….from the efficient front desk staff that made check-in/check-out very smooth to housecleaning that always took great care of the room to the Zaytoun restaurant staff who’s friendly nature and service and delicious food always made the morning breakfasts and evening Iftar’s a highlight of the day. I unfortunately do not remember all the names of the outstanding staff at Crowne Plaze, Belgium Cafe and Zaytoun’s restaurant but for the breakfast staff Haider, Yoon and Peter were the one’s that predominately handled my table so I would like to recognize them. Location and convenience make the Festival City Crowne Plaza a great place to stay but the Crowne Plaza/Belgium Cafe/Zaytoun staff is the reason this will always be my hotel of choice when I am in Dubai.

A stay enjoyed during a time of crisis. From the warm welcome to the wonderful view of Dubai Creek, this is a Crowne Plaza of note. Rooms are well maintained and very comfortable with little touches that help make your stay comfortable. There is easy access to Festival City Shopping Centre and the Abra to take you across the Creek to join Dubai Metro. All the staff were charming, helpful and doing their very best to make their guests comfortable at a challenging time.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything was welcoming, clean, and beautifully maintained. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and truly enjoy my time there.

A special thank you to Shanika, who was our waitress during our stay. She was exceptionally nice, warm, and attentive. Her friendly personality and genuine care made every meal a pleasure. Shanika went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s rare to come across someone who brings such positive energy and professionalism to their work.

I highly recommend this hotel, and I truly hope Shanika receives recognition for her outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning!

Very good and comfortable stay

Super spacious suite, easily accommodated 4 of us.
Super view of the creek, we never tired of looking across at the skyline
10 minutes from the airport, arranging the transfer through the hotel is highly recommended, £40 each way.
The staff are super helpful from the seamless check in to our departure, and everyone is so courteous, we honestly felt like royalty, and the food was superb. We had a half board option and it represented fantastic value. I can strongly recommend the Anise world buffet which is in the hotel next door.
Our rooms were made up every day and with fresh bottles of water to replace the empties. A particular mention to Rahul our housekeeper who was always so very helpful.
I recommend this hotel 100% and will be returning next year.

The hotel was clean, ran efficiently and they really look after their guests. The swimming pools were lovely clean towels every day very helpful staff cannot fault our trip

I appreciate Mr Zubair outstanding service always whenever I come to crowne plaza DFC he used to guide his staff to prepare my room as I like to be, he is one of the best people I meet, very cooperative doing his best to satisfy clients which affect positively in crowne plaza brand image.

Excellent service! Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was accommodating to all diets and Peter was an excellent waiter.Would highly recommend.

Staff were excellent and so helpful. Reception, breakfast staff (amazing breakfast) and pool side, especially the lovely Innocent who looked after us when we were by the pool and was a ray of sunshine so special thanks to him. Cannot recommend this hotel enough as a perfect setting, walking distance undercover to the shopping mall and all its amazing shops and restaurants - hope to stay again with you.

It was a great experience to theis hotel every thing is very proffesionally done by man kumar and sohel supervisor they are more good then our expectation i wil defenatily recomened this hotel and this staff to everyone who is coming to dubai.

The best bar i have visited in festival city Belgian beer cafe has good beers and food especially the Belgian burger

Breakfast was absolutely amazing , our waiter Anish was absolutely fantastic! Everything that we needed he was quick to help us with. We never ran out of coffee or cappuccino.
