Clean nice hotel. Breakfast buffet was good. Convenient for business.

Mattress a bit soft. Powerful AC.
Fridge thankfully left empty for use by guest.
Near a train station and less than 10 mins to an average shopping mall.
Restaurant doesn’t open on Sunday!
TV- Subtitles in German only No instructions on TV or in room in English. Even the spa brochure in the room was in German. Called reception, but was told they didn’t know if or how to change it!

Very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree. Following a flight cancellation I needed a room for one night and was able to book one here. Received an upgrade to junior suite along with complimentary welcome cookie and fantastic service from Karl upon checking in. Breakfast was extremely varied and was located in a pleasant dining area. Only a five minute walk from the central station and a two minute walk to the bus stop which has frequent services to the New Town Hall, Sprengel Museum and Lower Saxony State Museum as well as other city centre locations. An excellent experience!

Brilliant Doubltree hotel. The hotel is large, the layout & the location is very convenient.

About a 5 minute walk from the Hanover train station & about a 10 minute walk to the main city center.

The staff from reception to housekeepers & restaurant are all very helpful.

Good spa & decent size gym as well.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Berlin and Hilton Dresden, and I have to say I like this Hilton the best so far, with one minor exception being that the gym is on the small/stuffy side - two treadmills and a few weight stations only.

The highlight was really the dinner package that we took with our room - I really enjoyed the dinners, which make use of seasonal ingredients and I assume the Chef's creativity - white asparagus with cream pesto (goes fantastic with the draft local pilsner), etc. Downside is you can't really pick the menu or adjust it, consider it a surprise as long as you have no restrictions.

Location was really convenient too, just about 5 minutes from the train station.

Comfortable hotel within blocks from the train station. Our room was huge with large windows giving great views of the neighborhood as well as fresh air into the room. Our AC was loud so it was nice that we could get fresh air without having to turn on AC. Breakfast area had a wide variety of offerings. As always the welcome cookie was delicious.

Awesome staff, great breakfast and super diamond recognition. Beatiful 1 bedroom suite, nice and clean. Good WiFi and parking underneath the hotel. Close by restaurants and bars.Highly recommended. Nice breakfast too even with Asian food.

We stayed there for 13 nights and all days it was exactly the same menu
For vegetarians it was straight potato hash and beans for 13 days
Ofcourse milk muesli breads were there
For Indians hardly any options
I had put in so many special requests but none of these were catered to.

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family with my partner. Great size hotel room, extra large very comfy bed. Bathroom facilities excellent with power shower. Fantastic choice of food at breakfast. Also ate in Albertz restaurant one evening - great food and even better service. Raffi Hasso was our waiter and nothing was too much trouble … a great sense of humour too - thanks Raffi. Would definitely recommend and would stay again when visiting Hannover. Extra bonus was that the hotel is situated less than a 5 minute walk to central train station with direct link to the airport.

I had a 2-night stay in early December at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hannover Schweizerhof.
It was my 3rd stay at the hotel--I visited when it was previously branded that "Crowne Plaza"--and I did not notice any discernible change under the "DoubleTree by Hilton" management.
I was efficiently checked-in--Danke, Pamela. I booked a Superior room, which was a suitable size for 2 people. It overlooked the Hinüberstrasse.
As others have indicated, the hotel is a 10 m walk from the Hbf and if you are visiting the Xmas markets in 2025, several are within a 10-15 m walk.
Their breakfast was excellent and had the usual dietary menu options.
And their restaurant offers both lunch and dinner and several restaurants are on nearby streets.
I used their sauna and it was a nice amenity given the weather at the time.
The hotel is also a 10-15 m walk from the Ellenriede, which is the largest urban city forest in Germany. A wonderful park that is worth a visit.
Overall, I was happy with my stay and I would recommend staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hannover Schweizerhof.

Very good location, although difficult to find.

We selected the hotel primarily due to it's proximity to the railway station (easy walk) and the hotels quality. We had a terrific experience from arrival to departure, seemless.
Reception and other staff were professional and friendly.
Room was excellent, quite spacious and of a very good standard. Room service was equally good.
Would likely have given 5 star if we had utilized the additional facilities, such as breakfast and restaurant but unfortunately we did not have the opportunity as we had arrangements outside to catch up with family friends.
Would certainly recommend and have already done so.
Would happily return if visiting Hanover.

Personnel was outstandingly kind. Food was good. Location is also helpful since is close to the train station and we were able to walk to the new town hall which has a nice view on the back (pic attached).

Rooms have enought size and desktop has also enough space to work or study there

We stayed in Hannover for five nights as part of our 10 night vacation travelling around Germany so chose the Hilton as it was close to the train station and we could use it as a base to explore other sights outside of the city, and wanted a bit of luxury to finish our travels.

Lovely welcome, easy check in, room was spacious, clean, very comfortable bed, nice air conditioning especially as there were some high temperatures for May. Breakfast was pretty good everything you could possibly need and there is a nice bar area to relax, and staff are polite, friendly and courteous.

So why did I give an average score and not five stars. I chose the Queen room for a bit more luxury and had a balcony so that we could sit outside with a coffee or wine especially as the weather was so good. However the balcony was dirty and grubby, bird poo (fresh) on all the furniture it was nothing more than a smoking area (we are not smokers).

Our room wasn’t cleaned on one day, towels were only provided for one person on another day, despite asking we had not shower gel for the first three days having to use shampoo to wash.

When booking, the room details stated slippers and bathrobes were provided, we were not supplied any, I know they were provided as I saw them on the cleaning trolly for others rooms on our floor.

As previously said breakfast was very good but on our second day we were refused entry as we had not paid, I recognise this was a mistake but the front of house got a little erratic which made me feel rather foolish and embarrassed in front of a packed dining hall. Luckily a lovely lady from reception came to my rescue and put everything thing right.

I wouldn’t come again and based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, there were so many things wrong, I’ve used Hilton for many years, I wanted to end our vacation with a bit of luxury but all I got was very little for a lot of money.

The hotel itself is OK but the price was very high. Add to that the fact that my room, and others, had hot water problems that caused me to change rooms made the experience less than ideal
