Great location
Pros:

We chose to stay here because we wanted to walk around Punta Gorda. It’s close to everything

Cons:

The shower had no hot water. The bathroom sink did. We didn’t notice til about 1:00am so we never reported it

Great hotel, in good location.
Pros:

Amazing roof top bar, great views from here. Big well kept room. Good location.

Cons:

Downstairs bar closed at 9! We just got back to the hotel at 8.55, and were told we only had 5 minutes, then charged $15 for one drink! Went to our room, and the tv had hardly any channels!

Manager Can't Seem To Find The Time To Address Issues
Pros:

I checked in late on a Monday. It took FOREVER for the front desk clerk to get me checked in. In the process, she asked how my trip was, and I said long and I'm exhausted. Finally, I got my key card & headed up and went to bed. After midnight, my phone started ringing. I answer, and it's the front desk clerk....telling me she must have entered my card wrong and could I give her the card number again. AT MIDNIGHT!!!

I told her I was sleeping and I would have to deal with this in the AM.

The next AM I head down and tell the NEW clerk what happened and that I would like to speak with a manager. She assures me the manager will call me when she gets in, in about 30 mns. This is on a Tuesday. Thursday comes, and I check out and mention that I never heard from the manager. The clerk checks, and the manager is apparently on a phone call, but she will call me when she finishes up. I headed to lunch and then the airport, and about 3 hours later I still have not heard back.

When I get off my flight, I had a message, so I called, and guess what - the manager had left for the day. I left another message, and that was 4 days ago.

Clearly, the bad experiences guests have is not a priority to address, or I would have heard back. There are several other hotels right there - lots of competition.

Pros:

Nice room, nice big bathrooms, clean, polite staff

Cons:

They had a hurricane that wiped out the rooftop area. That’s where the pool was. The websites have not been updated and we were looking forward to it. They need to update the site and take new pictures
